Weaknesses: For this money this camera dosen't have a weak sides

Summary: During the 4 months of use my camera is working very well. Not problems at all. You wont get nothing better for this money! Highly recomended. The batteries are lasting very long and you do not have to have a charger because this camera has AA battieries and you can use it in any place in the world without worried that you wont be able to plug your charger in Europe to the 230 insted 110.

Strengths: All kinds of Shot Models

Weaknesses: Not too much difference from previous version

Summary: I always like the so many shot models provided by Nikon L series camera. What I need to do is just set up the model and click. Use those models, mostly, we can get very good photo quality in very simple ways. One thing that is not as good as expected is comparing with L11, it seems that L14 doesn't improve too much except that the resolution is better.

Strengths: sufficient resolution, support widescreen photo

Weaknesses: battery problem

Summary: Compared with L11, L14 has better resolution and it support widescreen photos. The picture quality is similar to L11. Another very good feature is that this camera support SDHC, which saves a lot on my memory card. I don't like to use battery, which usually makes the camera heavier and last shorter than use embedded battery.

Weaknesses: slow flash recovery

Summary: This is a great little camera whose value cannot be beat. It is very easy to set up and use, and takes lithium, niMH, or regular AA batteries, so you can pretty much just throw in whatever you have.

Summary: great value for a digital camera... I was looking for a basic, small camera that would take good pictures with a great price tag...this camera works great and it works from batteries which is a great feature to me... great camera and price, would recommend!

Summary: This camera takes great pictures and I love the small size. It is very easy to use. The large LCD screen is great so that you can capture the entire image before shooting. I love the various scene modes. The face detection makes picture taking more professional. I have even recorded a movie!

Strengths: ease of use, great photos, AA batteries

Weaknesses: seems slow between shots

Summary: I really like the ease of use and quality of this camera. It takes great photos in auto mode and has a good sized LCD. Even the button layout is pretty easy once you try it a couple of times. Since it uses SD cards, it can hold tons of photos - SD cards are very cheap and compatible with many other cameras and devices. I also like the fact that it used AA batteries, so I can use rechargeable batteries, but in a pinch I can throw in ordinary AA's. I like this camera overall, but it seems to take a few seconds more than others I have used between shots.

Strengths: good for outdoor pics, indoor is good w/o flash, low light pics are good, video is good.

Weaknesses: when taking bright pictures some colors (usually where there is white) will appear fuzzy and not as sharp and clear as I would like.

Summary: I compared pictures taken with the L11 and the L14 and the L11 has more sharper contrast. The L14 has some fuzzy shots (usually outside of the center of picture). This is not what I expected. As a higher model comes in you would expect it to match if now exceed the quality of the previous. This one is a bit of a downgrade in terms of quality. I think this might be due to the ISO setting being automatic or it could be the lense. If its the ISO setting, then Nikon should update the firmware to address the fuzz.

Summary: I bought my sister one and one for myself. Great deal for the price and product. The Nikon Coolpix L14 is a great compact digital camera that provides high performance with someone of my generations skill to operate it with ease!The battery life is great and better than mine!

Summary: Light weight with highly compact dimensions which made me to but this camera for my mom who is fond of little cameras she can hold. I did not use this base model from Nikon much but heard that the battery life is very good wit Energizer? lithium AA-size batteries.I did not hear comments from my mom yet so she might be happy with it.

Strengths: Easy to use and easy to handle

Summary: Exceptional value for any custmer due to its easy handling with clear high resoultion, and good for the low light shooting.Good image processor for full screen viewing on widescreen tv and computer.
