Strengths: The auto white balance is MUCH improved. Faster auto focus.The Larger LCD Preview is very nice. The New Facial Detection Technology is a nice feature also. Larger internal buffer!!!
Weaknesses: The shutter advance top speed is 2-fps,is just a bit slow. Same megapixel as the S3.
Summary: A must to get is the Nikon MB-D200 power supply grip. Besides it making the camera look more massive (& Professional) it gives the S5 a verticle shutter release and ability to use the more common AA NiMh batteries which last quite a long time with 6 in there.
