Strengths: Psp is great, has wireless card, internet browser, video player, music player, picture loading and UMD player

Weaknesses: it's slow at loading the UMD, but it's not unusual

Summary: The PSP is great. I take it everywhere with me, and I'm never bored. Whenever I have nothing to do, I just pop up my PSP out of my pocket.

Strengths: Easy to use. Exceptional video, music qualities. Game graphic is phenominal.

Weaknesses: Wish to have more storage

Summary: I bought this PSP for my son but I've used it more often than him. Converting movie mpeg2 to mpeg4 takes a little time. This is a perfect portable player. Most softwares to use can be found and download free on line.

Strengths: Well built, the "wow" factor, good control, great LCD screen, fast access.

Weaknesses: UMD is super slow, the black finish/screen are smudgy/fingerprint magnets, LCD screen has lots of ghosting, poor RPG/strategy game selection now, slow to resize movie, and trouble transfer big files.

Summary: Where do I start? Pro: It is well designed and well built; Everybody who has seen it loved it; All love the clarity of the LCD screen; The controls are well organized, perfect fit; User interface of the PSP is top notch; MP3 playback quality is great; strong battery life; smart charging where it will auto shut off when full to conserve battery life (not sure, anyone confirm/deny?). Con: Accessing UMD is slow for both movie playing and especially games. Very annoying; The reflective black finish and the LCD screen are constantly full of oily smudge from fingers, gotta learn to live with it; Watching action movie on the LCD reveals lots of ghosting. Which means the LCD's response time is poorly slow. I did not expect this from SONY. Very disappointed; Also the movies are a bit on the dark side, making it a bit hard to see; Resizing a full 2 hr movie to PSP friendly size will take your PC at least 2 hours (highest quality on both video and audio); And then, good luck with transferring that huge 1.7GB movie file via USB2.0 cable to your PSP. It often stop 1/3 or half way. WTF. I only succeeded once and I don't know how it happened.; Poor RPG/strategy game selection out there. Heck, it has been out for years now, no? What's going on, SONY?; Got mine new and it is 2.01 firmware version, which means I can not downgrade it to 1.5 to play all those home-brew applications, utilities, games, and emulators. Which may make PSP shine as a real portable gameing machine that have value to keep.; And why does it have Korean, ..... but no Chinese language ? Oh well, that is my rave and ranting. Hope this helps. I may play with it for a bit and sell it.

Strengths: Graphics, design, games, MP3/WMA player, Video player, Picture viewer, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi internet, absolutly stunning

Weaknesses: Battery life, sound, hands sweat when played for a long period of time, scratches easily

Summary: The PSP is the best portable gaming system out now. It does everything you could think of. it plays games, movies, music, views pictures and even goes on wireless Internet. I would recommend getting the "Giga Pack" because the memory stcks get pretty expensive, rather spend money on boy/girl friend. Well there is nothing bad to say about this system. Its Sony afterall. Strengths: Graphics are very good, games and films are in good supply.

Weaknesses: Does not come with screen guard or hard case for protection while transporting

Summary: In general the PSP is and excellent product, cost is a factor but with the comparison from PriceGrabber it was easy to find the best deal.

Strengths: Amazing graphics for a handheld system. Since the E3 video game show, people cannot take their eyes off of the PSP.

Weaknesses: After about 20-30 min of gameplay, if you have large hands, they begin to hurt. The PSP is very expensive when it comes to the memory cards.

Summary: I absolutely love my Sony PSP system. I currently at the time had a Nintendo Advance SP system but it was not cutting it. I was going to probably get the Nintendo DS, but the sleek design of the PSP made me think twice before my purchase. I ended up getting the PSP instead. This is not your ordinary handheld, from what I have witnessed through my friends is that this system is a big hit with older audiences and the market is not aimed toward the younger kids like the Nintendo DS. This is a product that you would give to a responsible person that wont leave it in their back pocket. I also was interested in getting a 60gb iPod, but with this product, still with formatting issues on the computer, still has amazing picture quality and it can't be beat (yet). It also has WiFi multiplayer access, so for anyone that is into online gaming, this is a dream come true. Overall, if you?re shopping for someone and cost is not an issue, I would get the PSP for older teens, and get the DS or anyone younger. The games are also more adult oriented then the Nintendo DS's. Also if someone wants an iPod, and they are also a gamer, I recommend the PSP.

Strengths: Does almost anything you can think of.

Weaknesses: Will need to buy a memory stick along with a memory stick reader

Summary: This is the BEST hand-held machine you can buy on the market today (I should know I have every GAMEBOY ever made). With the right know-how to you can put pictures, music, videos, games, and even the internet on your PSP. Down sides: you need a pretty big memory card to hold all of the pictures, movies, ect. that you want to take with you where ever you go, and to put the pictures, movies, ect. on to the PSP without having to do alot of work, YOU ARE GOING TO NEED A MEMORY STICK READER! Overall this still is the BEST hand-held ever

Strengths: High rez screen. Sleek looking design. Great sound.

Weaknesses: Poor ergonomics. Lack of good games.

Summary: Visually, this is a very nice unit. Everything looks great from the sleek smooth surface to the super sharp screen. Ergonomically, it is not so great. every surface is covered with buttons, making it uncomfortable to hold for fear of accidently hitting the wrong button. The location of the directional buttons are placed in an awkward location which forces you to bend your thumb when you play. This makes long periods of play difficult. What's worst is the location of the analog control. It is next to impossible to use this along with the "L" button. Currently, there aren't that many good games for the system as most are just ports from other console. While there are many games in the works, how the system will really do remains to be seen.

Strengths: Handy, Superb screen, Smart Joystick.

Weaknesses: Expensive. Can only use expensive games and videos. No use of network

Summary: Potential is big. But extensive limitations is build in. Even more limitations is added if you upgrade the OS. So you can not use freeware games available. No connection to your PC or anything else.

Strengths: Well, it does have VERY good graphics, also good tech specs.

Weaknesses: Where do I begin?! THis thing is fragile, costs a whopper, games are boring, batterly life sucks, and the only thing I use it for now is music. And you have to buy extra memory sticks for that, too.

Summary: TOTAL waste of money. Should have burned the $300 instead. I also have a DS, which I play much more often. It has tons of replay value, and the touch screen is anything but gimmicky.

Strengths: The lcd screen on this is great, crystal clear! Sound quality is awesome as well.

Weaknesses: Have to buy sony duo

Summary: The Sony PSP system has been the best hand held gaming system that I have ever owned. Its best quality is the clear, vibrant lcd screen. I also love watching movies on this, which allows me to watch wherever I go, on the way to work, while waiting for the bus, etc. I love this thing!

Strengths: big and clear screen, plays movies, music and games, very good graphics. feels like a next-gen handheld

Weaknesses: ghosting, hard to play in sun, fingerprints/smudges easy to see on the face of PSP, battery lasts 5-6 hours

Summary: The PSP is a worthy competitor in the handheld area. The games have awesome graphics, almost PS2 level graphics. The sound is very good and the games are just like what you see on the PS2. It also does a variety of things other than games, such as playing music, looking at photos and playing movies. It has Wi-Fi support to play multiplayer games online or ad-hoc. If you have the money, I reccommend getting the PSP.

Strengths: Fantastic graphics, sharp screen, very stylish

Weaknesses: None

Summary: The PSP is truly a revolution in portable gaming. Nintendo has been milking the portable market for a long time, releasing moderately improved versions of the original Gameboy year after year. Sony's first entry into the portable arena is absolutely stunning. Playstation 2 caliber graphics, a gorgeous widescreen LCD, and the ability to play movies and MP3's - there is simply no competition between this handheld and anything Nintendo has released.
