Strengths: This is an amazing product - the whole family loves it! We never get tired of it, and new games are continuously added.

Weaknesses: It is addictive :)

Summary: A wonderful alternative to board games. The whole family can play together. The Boxing option is a great way to get a cardio workout - really! I highly recommend it for all ages.

Strengths: Great colors, connects to the internet easily.

Weaknesses: Not many game titles.

Summary: I have the Wii for one month, it is real fun, the remote unit is awesome, the games that come with it are OK. Unfortunately there are not many games in the market for it, very limited number of titles. I went to GameStop and could barely find a game I liked.

Strengths: Lots of funInteractiveInvites physical exercise

Weaknesses: Not quite as responsive to player movements as hoped - especially in boxing - however I've never been a gamer before so how would I know...

Summary: A great reason to get together with friends and share some laughs - what could be more important than that?It inspires physical activity unlike other game systems so I think that is great! It's simply a lot of fun - even for a soon to be 50 year old woman - and my college kid is jealous! I love that part :)

Strengths: It's motion-controlled (mostly), the next-gen of video gaming experience. Great internet interface and allows me to resurrect nostalgic games from old systems (Super Mario, etc.).

Weaknesses: Motion control is still in it's infancy. Most games don't utilize it like they should. Graphics are somewhat cartoony.

Summary: What else is there to say except that Nintendo actually found a way to get more money out of their patents for the power glove and power pad (anymore born after 1990 won't understand what I'm talking about). Motion controlled video gaming is the future and Nintendo is at the forefront. The Wii allows anyone to stop going to smoky bars to play virtual golf or bowling and do it from the comfort of their living room. My mom wants a Wii now and she never cared for video games before. The controls are easy to master, I just wish they had more games that utilized the motion controls to their fullest (give it a few years I'm sure). Once Wii Fit comes out, expect it all to change again. For the better. Yes, PS3 and W-Box 360 have better graphics, but the Wii is leagues ahead in terms of making video gaming an experience and everyone should have one in their house. No doubt about it.

Strengths: simplicity in using console

Weaknesses: the only weakness is the person using it

Summary: My husband uses the Wii every morning as an exercise program. He enjoys it more than going to gym. The games are good because as you improve it gets more challenging.

Strengths: great product

Summary: Bought this for our 5-1/2 year old son but my husband and I have been using it for guitar hero. Great product, easy to install/set up. Wish the games were not so expensive though.

Strengths: Fun for the whole family

Weaknesses: The graphics could be much better

Summary: I bought the Wii for my two kids after playing it at a friend's house. The sports games are good fun with realistic motions. The whole family can play and enjoy it. Highly recommended for party fun and family gatherings. One can play and execise at the same time. I look forward to the new "Fit" game that's coming out in May.

Strengths: Physical movement is the key, not just button pushing

Weaknesses: movements take time to figure out how to sync with the video characters

Summary: Our whole family plays, even the grandparents so that makes this system unique. We all get a workout by playing the boxing game. However I can't figure out how my movements are being translated to the video character. In time I expect more games with better perspectives and better matching of movement to come out though.

Strengths: Great fun for the family of ALL ages. Bought this for my husband's 65th birthday. We play it with our sons and their spouses! We are having way too much fun! This is definitely not just for the young.

Weaknesses: The only weakness I have found is with Guitar Hero. I love playing it but there are no written instructions as to how you get to each level. You don't find out until you have "mastered" a song.

Summary: Buy it now! You won't regret it! Buy extra controllers so everyone can play and enjoy this great entertainment console. You will laugh at the contortionist you all become.

Strengths: -Family-oriented-Simple to operate-Wii Sports requires to get off the couch and sweat

Weaknesses: -The remote/sensor system is not very good for fine or soft movements such as close putting in golf

Summary: It was a great gift for the whole family. Even my 63 y/o mother enjoys playing bowling. My wife is using it for exercising and I feel playing sports in a leveled play field with my young sons

Strengths: It has a unique playability, fun games and eye-popping graphics.

Weaknesses: Even though the remotes are wireless, the nunchuks have a wire that sometimes hits you in the face while you're boxing.

Summary: I love this console. It has brought my family closer when we spend time together. I showed it to my father-in-law who indeed loved it and had fun with the golf and bowling games that came with the console. I especially love the fact that it will play Gamecube games and will also use the Gamecube controllers, too.

Strengths: Great family entertainment and interactive media.

Weaknesses: Unavailability of some popular accessories.

Summary: The Wii console is the best selling game console in the world. I am confused by Nintendo's refusal to make more consoles and accessories available. The lack of units has created a black market that has driven up costs of a unit many would normally be able to afford.
