Strengths: Lots of Power. HDMI 1.3, lots of input. 1080P video upconversion via HDMI, Dolby True HD, 7.1 speakers, MCACC

Weaknesses: Yellow and not white display, not changable. on-screen menu kind of weak (480i)

Summary: My only complaint would be the color of the display is yellow, and my last pioneer was white so I guess I go used to the white and wish I could change the color of the display. Other then that this receiver rocks. I have it hooked up to a Blu-Ray and the sound and picture are increadable. My 1080P looks much better when the sound matches the beautiful pics from the Blu-Ray. I have it hooked up to a router so it gets internet radio along with all the MP3's on my hard drives and it comes with a cable to connect to my IPod.

Strengths: Nicely integrates with Elite PRO-110FD 50" plasma TV and will allow full integration to BDP-95FD Blu-ray with 1080p. The audio capability is great.

Weaknesses: The iPod menu display on the TV is very low resolution and archaic, however, it functions. Have some concern of burn-in on TV but can also control through the receiver without TV interface.

Summary: The key differentiator for me on the 94TXH versus the lower models was the ability to fully leverage the latest video and audio standards and full support of Blu-ray. The availability of 4 HDMI input ports will allow for expansion should new devices come into play. It was very easy to get the system set up initially, and I had phenomenal audio/video results upon powering up and syncing with the TV straight out of the box. I can't wait to fully investigate my options. Also the iPod is easy to use through the receiver controls and the stereo sound quality was outstanding. Overall, I'm very pleased with this device.

Strengths: This is a monster receiver if not the best in all. It has so many inputs. The sound quality is awesome with my Energy speakers. It works perfectly with my Blu-Ray, and DVD player.

Weaknesses: Ipod input was weak. I sometime has to disconnect and reconnect my iPod from the factory cable.

Summary: If you are getting this monster, i recommend that you need to buy a high quality HDMI cable. And of course, the adapter for the iPod. Other than that, this receiver is the best in it class.
