Strengths: Full 1080p. LARGE 53" widescreen. Splitscreen. Multiple inputs(HDMI included )Inuitive plug n play inputs. Quiet.

Weaknesses: Modest speakers.

Summary: Much of what has been written about this set involve early models that were prone to bulb failure. I can say that after viewing this tv for four months that it has no problems. It's pictures remains to be one of the best I've seen. Furthermore, it's quiet; as quiet as a laptop computer. And at full 1080p with HD cable it's pictures are crisp and breathtaking. Even normal DVDs look better. It's onboard sound is slightly lacking but adequate. Simply connect your hometheater to it's many inputs. I love this tv. I got mine at circuit city for under $1300 with 0% financing. AWESOME.

Strengths: Good picture, light weight

Weaknesses: Slow response on remote control, local stations don't broadcast in 1080p

Summary: I had received a notice of the recent sale items at Circuit City the other day and it turned out that they had this unit somewhat reduced. By combining it with a 10%-off coupon that I had, I was able to get the unit for $1558.79. Although this included free shipping, since the store is fairly close to me, I decided to drive over there and pick the item up myself. It's bulky enough that you might have a bit of trouble getting it in a car, but it fits easily in the bed of a shortbed pickup. It only took Circuit City about 5 minutes to bring the item around and put it in my truck. It's light enough that my 12-yr-old daughter and I were able to easily transfer it from the vehicle to inside my house. Actually, it's light enough for one person to handle -- it's just a bit too bulky for a single person to get a good grip on it. Even with the lamp control set to it's lowest setting, the unit is very bright. The user interface for removing channels could be improved a bit in that it would be more useful if you could see what was on the channel while you're going through the editing of the channel list instead of having to go into the menu to delete the channel and then exit from the menu to change the channel. The remote control lights up when you press a button, so you don't have to memorize every remote control button just to use it in a darkened room. For the most part, I'm using the unit with DishNetwork, but without their HDTV package. The display of the signal from composite and S-Video looks very good. Since I didn't have a second RG-8 cable run to the wall for antenna input, I just hooked the unit up initially with a Recoton powered set-top antenna that I had around the house. I was quite surprised that it ended up getting a good HDTV signals. A couple of the channels ended up a bit weak, but it works well enough for use until I can run another RG-8 cable down that wall.

Strengths: Clear picture, Easy to set up, Vibrant colors, 1080p, HDTV, speaks for itself, Great price!

Weaknesses:

Summary: This is an excellent product. I wish I had bought it sooner. Life with HDTV is awesome, and there's no technology out there better than 1080p. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a big screen HDTV.

Strengths: Super picture, easy to use

Weaknesses: Remote control, not sensitive enough at times and to sensitive at other times (volume control)

Summary: Super picture even on non HD programs. Had problem with distortion of picture until I got HD service. Now the only distortion problem I have is some of the commercials are distorted. I am getting super picture without using expensive cable connection. I get terrific picture during day time viewing and I have two large windows facing the screen.
