Strengths: Great HD picture, Very good Standard Digital picture, Low Price, Easy Setup

Weaknesses: Nothing that I can see.

Summary: This TV is GREAT! The quality is super and the sound is great. I've read some reviews where people complained about the sound being too weak but I think the sound is very good. Maybe these people live

Strengths: Great HD Picture when using HDMI or component cables. Low Price

Weaknesses: When watching Standard programming, the picture is worse than a CRT TV but I think that is with all big screen HDTV's

Summary: Do be turned away thinking you are getting a low quality TV because of the Price. The picture is amazing when playing HD programming. I would definately buy this TV over again.

Strengths: great value for 40" 1080p brand name product w/warranty

Weaknesses: none so far

Summary: I was looking for the biggest/best tv that would fit in my entertainment system. I researched this for weeks..I knew I wanted 1080P and a reputable brand. I couldn't find a lot of reviews on this particular model, but Toshiba was given good reviews by consumer magazines and web sites. I did contact Toshiba to ask about contrast ratio and if this TV was part of the Regza line. They do not give contrast ratio specs because there is not an industry standard and they said this is NOT part of the Regza line. I went ahead with purchase through buydig.com for $769.00 no tax/free shipping. Set up for the TV was easy, it took longer to snake the power cord through the entertainment system than to hook up the cables. I ran my audio through my stereo for surrond sound which is a must for home entertainment, so I can't comment on the speakers. The picture is unbelievable and the set up menu/instructions were pretty straight forward. I'm receiving hi-def tv via local cable co. Changing channels and running the dvr screens are a little slower than before. Don't know if that is caused by the new tv or the new hi-def dvr box provided by cable co. Not really a big deal. This seems to be a pretty good deal so far....
