Strengths: Good performance and value from a reputable manufacturer.
Weaknesses: Lacks brilliance of higher-end LCD's. Slow in changing channels compared to older tube TV's.
Summary: We're overall very pleased with this product. We bought it as a second TV to replace an 18 year old 27" tube TV in our bedroom, for about the same price as the old TV. It doesn't have quite the brilliance of our larger Samsung plasma, but is a great value, and plenty adequate for our needs. Plus it picks up more channels (including some HD) from our cable than the old TV (we have just basic cable service with no set-top box).

Strengths: Great PQ, lots of inputs, great price.
Weaknesses: Position of inputs is awkward but not a big deal.
Summary: Got this TV to replace a 20" CRT in my bedroom, this a great and affordable TV. Picture Quality rivals that of Samsung's TVs, only problem is the position of the connectors is awkward, and the TV controls are on the top of the tv, but these are minor annoyances.

Weaknesses: Does not support 1080p
Summary: It's an entry level HDTV but it's 2008 model. The TV has enough inputs for me. The sound quality is good too. Built-in TV Tuning: NTSC/ATSC/QAM, So you do not need the cable box. It had a picture closest to the top end tv's but a reasonable price.

Strengths: Awsome sound, picture and easy to operate,PC compatable.
Weaknesses: You must always change the picture size when using the TV or DVD. It's just a click of the button. I would prefer it to stay programed to Theatre or wide screen.
Summary: You can't go wrong with Toshiba. I have compared others for the last 9 months. Toshiba has all the bells and whistles, a lot more than I would use. Toshiba's reputation is impecable. No need to buy insurance, I did'nt. Compare prices at the store. Couldn't have bought it without the layaway plan. Put a 100 down in Feb picked it up in late May when my tax $ arrived. Even though the LCD was not available at the time, back in the stock room one Toshiba had my name on it waiting to be picked up. Thanks 6th Ave. Peace
