Summary: This is my first time using BuyDig.com, I planned on buying this in black (ln22a450) from Amazon.com, but they kept playing around with the price. When I decided I liked the white better (it's actually vanilla) Amazon was out of stock and they did not have the best price. After some initial reservations and research, I went ahead and took the plunge, and couldn't be more happier with the TV and with the service I received at BuyDig. I chose the free shipping and placed my order on Friday evening, the 18th of July, and received it on Tuesday afternoon the 22nd of July. My TV was packed in a shipping box and came in excellent condition. It really was "factory fresh", it was made last month. After initially attaching the stand and cables and plugging the unit in, it went through an automatic set up with a little assistance from the user. Upon seeing the programed stations (HD and standard) I was a little disappointed. All channels were muddy and dark. I don't have cable, only over the air HD and standard stations. Don't throw the towel in, like I almost did. Give the TV a chance to warm up and you really do have to tweak the pre-programed settings. I always use Movie mode picture and sound for all of my TV's, but that mode without tweaking was dismal. If you like that mode, you might want to set the back-light on 7 or 8, and you really do have to go heavy with the contrast(85 - 95) and brightness (70 - 80). I also went under 50 for color, and 51 towards red with the Tint. I also used the normal setting (normal, warm 1, warm 2, cool etc.) Those settings are for the HD channels. For the standard channels you can go lower with the back light, contrast and brightness settings. Also, you can fine-tune each individual channel. I also customized my audio using the graphic equalizer, and turned on the surround, for deeper less tinny sound. I spent a lot of time customizing this TV to my likings, but when I turned it off, I still wasn't sure if I was satisfied with the purchase. I went away from it for about an hour and turned it back on, and checked all the channels, and the HD channels were suddenly gorgeous and the standards were almost as good as my CRT HD ready Samsung. If you are leaning towards buying this, and you have patience, in the end, you will not be disappointed.
