Strengths: Great picture
Weaknesses: screen now has to warm up to be viewed without errors
Summary: After a year of pure enjoyment of owning this tv, the screen has now become defective and has a clouding effect which then turns into lines across the screen... It takes 45 minutes for the screen problems to correct itself after turning it on.

Strengths: great contrast ratio, great viewing angles, awsome quality HD at a good price. much better than other "affordalbe" 46" options
Weaknesses: it is kinda slow when you turn it on that's the only weakness i could think of
Summary: i'm seriously in love with this purchase this TV is great the audio is awsome and the picture quality is great too it is slower then the more expensive KDL lcd's like the V series and the XBR but if you can deal with waiting an extra second or two every once in a while this TV is an excellent option and you can get Sony quality HD for just a bit over 1000 bucks on a 46 inch,20,000-1 contrast i read all sorts of reviews and 120hz is a little over hyped this lcd gets the job done and 3 hdmi ports is enough for me i normally buy the cheapest thing available when it comes to technology but i am seriously glad i spent a little bit extra for Sony the picture quality is awsome

Strengths: Good TV while it worked
Weaknesses: Poor warranty service
Summary: Poor warranty service. After having the TV for 60 days, the TV has been dead for over two weeks and still waiting for Sony to repair or replace under warranty. I keep getting the run around and I am very displeased with their service. They say the part is still 30 days till delivery. My opinion is if they don't have the parts to fix it, they need to replace it with a like TV. I

Strengths: Crisp picture, vibrant colors, great sound! Easy to hang against the wall, low profile, and much lighter than its heavier predecessers.
Weaknesses: The power takes about 10 seconds to turn on, and switching between channels takes about 3 seconds.
Summary: This is our first large screen LCD TV, and we love it. Viewing a football game is like sitting in a box seat and viewing the game through a non-glare window. Last evening we saw an opera, and it felt as though we were sitting in expensive seats at Lincoln Center. We watch many more movies (both old and new) than previously. We highly recommend this product.

Strengths: Incredible picture, user-friendly remote
Weaknesses: Slow response time
Summary: This is one of two large screen televisions just purchased for my elderly parents and we cannot be more pleased! The colors on the Sony are vibrant. Non-HD pictures come through well, but the true magic can be seen with HD broadcasts. Fios brings the screen to life and even after a few weeks, we're still agog every time we turn on the set.The remote is very user-friendly, which is a huge plus in our household. The set takes a while to respond (especially when it's first turned on), but it doesn't take long to become accustomed to the fact. It's a minor irritant that can be quickly ignored. We all love our Sony and highly recommend the Bravia KDL-46S4100.

Strengths: Crystal clear picture
Weaknesses: Not enough inputs ( 1 and 2 ) should be around 3.
Summary: This is the family's first LCD, large screen TV. It meets all of my expectations as a first-time viewer. It is very slim, very light, and easy to handle. It is user-friendly. My daughter enjoys playing her WII game on it. It is a perfect replacement for my 20", 9-year-old TV which was struck by lightning. I don't think that I would have readily purchased a new TV at this time had it not been for the storms. However, after careful review of systems, I chose the SONY LCD-HDTV and I am very pleased.Happily sitting with a mojito in hand watching the Wimbledon Tennis!

Strengths: Bright vibrant picture and crisp clear sound. Great price for the "S" series. Wide viewing angles. Many inputs. Darks are dark. 3 HDMI inputs.
Weaknesses: No 120Hz refresh rate, PIP can only be used with a computer connected to the TV. Once you hit the power button, it takes about 10 seconds before the TV turns on.
Summary: This LCD has a great picture and it's a Sony, so hopefully it will be long lasting like my other Sony products. It has a non-reflective surface, there is no reflection from the screen in a bright room. The color is amazing and extremely bright! Nice remote, I always thought the remote to my Sony DVD player was a bit cheap and buttons a bit touchy, but the TV remote is much better and easy to use.
