Strengths: Great picture, digital & analog
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I have both 52V4100 and 52W4100; it's difficult to see the difference. I have seen the "weakness" comments by other users, and I think they are based on their provider. I have TurboHD. You must adjust the picture "custom" settings on both models to optimize the picture.

Strengths: --excellent picture quality--lots of HD inputs--good quality according to consumer reports
Weaknesses: --usually pricey--doesn't have latest & greatest features--poor PIP/capability
Summary: I got this TV from Amazon for ~$1300 back in Nov 2008, including delivery. So far the unit has been excellent, haven't had any trouble with it. All of the HD inputs give a good-quality picture. I've used it with an Xbox 360, PS3, cable box, Dreamcast, DVD player, Wii, and a computer: all have been compatible. I also like the light sensor this model has, saves me from having to manually adjust the backlight. On the downside, there's no 120hz feature (which my eyes/brain can't detect) and the split-screen feature can only be used with the internal tuner--my old Westinghouse was much more flexible.

Strengths: Great Resolution, Picture Quality, HDMI Inputs and Output
Weaknesses: Sound Quality
Summary: This TV is great. I am totally impressed with all the input options, features and the easy set up. the HD PQ is amazing. I have my PS3 and Onkyo SR606 connected and I am very impressed by the picture quality. The 24p is just amazing. Blu- ray's look unreal. The sound output could be only the issue but if you A/V receiver connected, no problems. Overall, I am a totally satisfied Sony customer once again.

Strengths: Great Hi-Def pictures
Weaknesses: Horrible Analog pictures and long delay time between channel. A big disappointment from Sony with current technology on the latter two weakness mentioned
Summary: Test the Analog pictures first before you buy any LCD or Plasma TV. The Panasonic Plasma TV's are not bad. They come with anti glare so you dont have to worry about reflection.
