Strengths: Vivid picture Quality
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: I searched for an lcd flat screen several months before deciding on the SONY Bravia. It has been everything I had hoped for - high quality picture, terrific sound and it was both easy to install and set up. We are watching mostly hi-def content and it's almost like looking out of the window.

Strengths: Easy set-up (it almosts sets up by itself!), SONY quality, fantastic LCD picture!
Weaknesses: none yet that I can see
Summary: My first LCD TV and it is fantastic! It is easy to set up; just plug it in, connect to cable box and "voila": you are good to go! Found a great price (under $700) and also received a discount. The picture quality is wonderful, as well as the sound. The easy to set up stand also swivels, which is a bonus.

Strengths: Great picture quality and easy setup!
Weaknesses: None "yet"
Summary: I read other reviews for the LCD TV's (this is my first) and went with the SONY. I couldn't be happier. I ordered on line for a great price and it arrived by FEDEX air in two working days. I took it out of the box, set up the stand, plugged the cable and cord in and "instant gratification." Pick the correct language, let it program the channels, (even discovered that I had 15 digital cable channels from my cable company.) This review is for Rookies like myself. I did not get the cable company box, it works fine in both analog, digital and HD. If I had known it was this easy, I would have gone to flat panel LCD long ago. The picture quality and sound are terrific.

Strengths: SONY productAwesome picture qualityDolby Digital sound
Weaknesses: Cheap looking remoteNo swivel stand
Summary: It is a wonderful TV with awesome picture quality for sub $700 tag. I did a lot of research before purchasing this and I am fully satisfied with the results so far. The setup was easy, but the manual could be improved. It was able to catch lot of HDTV channels on air, which my old TV could not. I use it even as a monitor for my laptop and it works good. Though hard to believe, it does not come with a swivel stand.
