Strengths: Picture, features, low price.

Weaknesses: No video output. Now I can throw my DVD recorder (that does not have HD tuner) to rubbish and have to buy a HD recorder :-(

Summary: Very happy with the picture and all the features. I did not want to buy a HDTV yet but when I saw this one for the price I had to. And I am glad I did.

Strengths: great picture and sound and much more all for a reasonableprice from a reputable manufacture

Summary: i just received my samsung Ln32a550 Lcd tv today and whileit's my first Lcd tv i can tell you the picture and sound blows away a crt tv just like computer Lcd's blows awaycomputer crt's. not that crt's are bad, but quite simplyLcd's are better, much better i must say. so while i'mjust a rookie when it comes to Lcd tv's i can say that the far superior picture and sound of my Ln32a550 versuscrt's tv alone is a big jump and over time i'll discovermore and more great things on the LN32a550 such as usingall the connections on the back as well as learning to use all it's many many remote control buttons which should be fun and satisfying all from samsung which is areputable manufacture when it comes to an extensiveline of electronic products such as computer memory,laser disc players and tv's of course just to name 3of them. as i learn more and more about all the featuresthe Ln32a550 has, my excitement and satisfaction willonly grow stronger which is already strong after only6 hours of proud ownership.

Strengths: Very stylish looking tv. The picture is absolutely stunning, very sharp and vibrant, and 1080p is a definite plus. Plenty of connections for all your peripherals. User friendly interface.

Weaknesses: SDTV is average looking. Remote control is rather large. Can't control two HDMI or PC connections with PiP, only the TV tuner and one other source.

Summary: I purchased this television after several months of looking around for my very first high definition television. A friend of mine told me that if I get a 32 inch, I might as well spend the extra money to get 1080p. After several weeks of searching around for the right 32 inch 1080p television, I found this one at Circuit City and I was absolutely blown away. I bought the television mainly to use my Playstation 3 with and watch Blurays, so the picture with the standard definition television channels wasn't the most important aspect of my purchase, but overall the television performs fairly well even in that regard. There are also plenty of connections to hook up all your peripherals which is also a plus. When choosing this television a lot of the reviews said the sound wasn't so great, but unless you are looking to use this television as a home theater, the sound really didn't seem to bug me at all and I actually have no problems with it so far. Also for those people who said you can't tell a difference between 720p and 1080p on this size television haven't picked this one up because I could easily tell the difference when playing games in 720p and 1080p and 1080p just totally blew me away. Overall I couldn't be happier with this purchase, the television is stylish, performs well and is just downright amazing for a great price. I would highly recommend this to ANYONE in the market for a new high definition television to use with their gaming system or high definition tv/movie playback.

Strengths: Very sharp and colorful picture when display in HI-DEF. Easy to navigate menus. PIP is useful. Multiple HDMI for more freedom in connections. Very light and compact, easy to install. Stylish.

Weaknesses: Remote control is toy-like and bulky. TV stand connector could be more stable. Speaker locate at the bottom of the screen can be easily block by objects

Summary: I really like this TV as I had it as a replacement for my Olevia 227V. Once my previous HDTV gone bad. I've decided to go for something more reliable so Samsung was my answer. I think 1080p TV at this quality with 10000:1 contrast ratio at this price is a steal. Also, there are multiple HDMI input (3 to be exact) on this TV so switching between my PS3 and DVD upconverter is very convenient.
