Strengths: Style, picture clarity, built in tuner card
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Purchased this TV for our bedroom. I did not want to purchase another cable box so the inbuilt tuner card works perfectly receiving HD channels for all of the major networks. The 720p picture is very impressive and I doubt there is much of a difference between it and the 1080p 5 series Samsung sells. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with the product.

Strengths: non-gloss screen, nice bezel finish, lots of connections, samsung reputation
Weaknesses: takes long to turn on, plastic frame on back weak
Summary: I recently bought this Samsung television for wife's office. We definitely needed something with a non-gloss screen due to the office windows. The television is hung on a rotating cantilever arm mount. I feel like I have to be careful moving the arm since the plastic on the back of the tv will flex. I'm not sure if this is normal, but we try and take extra precaution when moving the tv. The shiny bezel finish on the tv is beautiful and clean. They did away with the 'blue light' at the bottom of the samsung symbol (yeah). We weren't looking for a tv with all the bells and whistles since this was for office use. So 720p would work just fine. This tv has nice color, an easy to understand remote (which my wife loves). The unusual thing is when you turn the tv on, it takes about 6 seconds for the tv to respond and turn on the picture. There isn't even a sound made when you hit the 'on' button until a few seconds later. The only indication you have that the tv is tunring on, is a small red blinkling light in the corner. OTher than that annoyance, I would recommend this 32" LCD tv to anyone looking for a good looking, good quality television.

Strengths: Good standard-definition picture, easy to use, looks great
Weaknesses: none yet
Summary: After much research, my husband and I decided on this tv. We looked at a LOT of other LCD's and this one seemed to be the best picture for the best price. We are extremely happy with it and recommend it to anyone that wants to get the most "bang" for their buck. There weren't any other LCD's we found with as high a contrast ratio and as good a response time as this one for the price.

Strengths: Great picture, easy to use, great body, receives standard and HDTV channels
Weaknesses: No PIP
Summary: This is a great TV. I bought it a month ago; the setup is very easy, I didn't have to calibrate colors; I just like the way it looks as it is. It receives HD signals over the air (I bought a cheap antenna) and now have 6 HD channels free. Also, I connected it to my Samsung DVD player and with Anynet I can use the same remote to control both equipments. Movies look great on this TV. The sound the TV makes when turned on or off was annoying; thankfully, it has an option to turn it off; the menu is basic but easy to understand. The surround sound is good but weak. I just connected it to my stereo system and the problem was solved.I'd wish the TV had PIP but for this price and this picture quality, I have no complaints.

Strengths: Assembly of stand, setup is quick and easy via the 'Plug-and-Play' utility. Picture is what I expected, clear and bright. USB port allows Firmware updates to TV.
Weaknesses: None I have found so far. Works as expected.
Summary: I've owned the TV less than a week and it's been a pleasure to use. I plan to wall-mount it in the bedroom later. Connection via satellite box was a snap via the plug and play option. I would encourage visiting Samsung's website for the TV's firmware updates. Registering the product gave me an additional 3 month warranty for free.

Strengths: Picture quality, contrast ratio, picture settings, ability to use as a monitor, digital tuner built in, 6ms response time for gaming.
Weaknesses: No picture-in-picture, documentation, costs a little bit more, no DVI input for PC connection., weak internal speakers.
Summary: After reading several reviews, this looked like it was going to be the best 32" LCD HDTV/Monitor for early (and perhaps all) of 2008. I wanted the best that I could afford, and so I splurged a little on this model. It is the newer version of last year's top 32" monitor, the Samsung LN3253H. I love the picture quality of this monitor. I love that the response time is fast enough to play games, and the picture quality is sharp enough to enjoy movies. One thing I'd niggle over is that there is only a VGA connector or S-video connector for connecting a PC - which means that signal is only analog. I'd prefer a digital connector, such as DVI, and I'd like the resolution to be capable of going higher.I got this actually to fit into an armoir in the bedroom, and it will mostly be used for watching movies. I would have probably preferred a 37" or 40", but it wouldn't fit. As it is, I think this screen is beautiful, the picture quality is the best in its class. I'm thankful for the 3 HDMI input connectors, as I can connect multiple devices (PS3/Blu-Ray player, HD-DVD player, DVD player or cable box), and the built in tuner means I can tune in to over-the-air broadcasts with an antenna.I've had previous experience with Samsung and their quality is usually top notch. I hope that over the next few years this one turns out to be the same.

Strengths: Most affordable 32" lcd tv from Samsung with 720p, 1080i resolutons
Weaknesses: Some pixelation on SDTV
Summary: This tv was a good buy for the value. It has a great picture and a beautiful design. The clarity of the picture is excellent for a 720p and the black levels are the best of the 32" tv out there. After researching and deciding between Sharp, Sony, and Samsung, the Samsung was a winner for me.

Strengths: Great picture! I do not even have HDTV cable yet the picture is outstanding. When I use it with my DVD it is amazing. Super easy to set up. Outstanding looks.
Weaknesses: Would be nice if it had a second connection for an attenna where you could easily switch from cable to over the air signal
Summary: Could not be happier. Buying on buydig saved me over $100 compared to bestbuy or circuit city. Great TV and great Price for everything you get with this set.

Strengths: Definitely has the best HD picture of all the 32" LCD tv's
Weaknesses: Some distortion without HD
Summary: I bought this TV a month ago for my bedroom. I researched both on-line and in person at such stores as Best Buy & Circuit City. I thought this TV out performed all the others at this price range. Blacker blacks and great colors. Pricegrabber came through with the best price by far. I saved over $100 and had it delivered to my front door.

Strengths: Excellent colors, good blacks, great aesthetics.
Weaknesses: Delay at startup, SD material could be better, LCD lag evident.
Summary: Overall very happy with this LCD TV. The brightness is excellent, there are a ridiculous amount of settings to tweak the TV with, and the picture quality is true 720P. A few minor grips however... There is a slight delay at startup. Once you press the power button, there is a second or two of blank screen before the TV actually turns on. It is noticable over most TVs and does bother me a bit. Once the TV is on however, source switching/channel switching is near instantaneous (My receiver lags more than the TV). Another minor grip is how the TV takes SD material. A N64 hooked up to this TV has very jagged edges. I haven't tried normal TV, but for 4:3, 480i material (very rare nowadays), this may not be the best tv to get. There is a bit of LCD lag (natural to all LCD tvs), and its noticeable in fast games (Super Smash Bros.) but it just takes some time to get used to. Overall I am very happy with this TV and the quality and picture at this price cannot be beat. You WILL see a difference over cheap Vizio/Olevia/etc tvs. I do have grips that I have outlined above, but those are very minor in my eyes.

Strengths: light weight and sleek design, usb port, energy star, very good picture and sound quality, contrast ratio, 3 hdmi, inbuilt HDTV tuner
Weaknesses: no picture in picture, no SD input
Summary: After quite a bit of research we decided to buy our 1st LCD HDTV - the Samsung LN32A450. A 32" screen is what we decided to buy because we live in an apartment and later when we upgrade, we can easily move this into our bedroom. We are extremely happy with our decision. The picture is terrific. We could have bought a less expensive 32" television but the difference in picture quality... this is totally worth it. This TV is truly a gem. It weighs less than 25 pounds and has a true sleek back piano finish. KOOL! Initial setup is a breeze, no need for late night TV Manual reading, just turn the TV on and follow simple screens. TV and the tabletop mount come separately in the TV box. The delivery guy put it together in under 10 minutes. The mount is very slick and easily swivels side to side without compromising on the picture quality. Input/output connections are very versatile and conveniently located. 3 HDMI connections, composite and component, S-video. There is a USB port at the back which I was not aware of ... is a cherry on top. It should play music and photos, but am yet to use it - will update the review after I try it and also update if it plays movies. Its 720p and not 1080p, but with LCDs < 40" in size, it hardly makes a difference. Picture and sound is magnificent right out of the box, gorgeous deep colors. Blacks are really black and whites are truly whites in this TV...something that I could not find in most TVs. With 10,000:1 contrast ratio this Samsung model can't be beat. I was also pleasantly surprised by its performance on Standard and High Definition channels. The picture is incredible through my OTA antenna - this TV comes with inbuilt analog/digital NTSC/ATSC tuner. Remote control is great and among other things has hot keys for aspect ratios, picture mode. I am very impressed with the speakers (which you can hardly see) that produce very respectable and clear sound with SRS TruSurround XT. This TV is energy star qualified and has a setting for type of energy savings which is pretty awesome. While watching the movie over the DVD...you will get blown by the clarity and sound quality. I use the TV in the movie mode as mentioned in the darkroom picture settings provided by a certain website (dont know if I can post the website name and/or url here) You will miss picture in picture in this TV along with no SD input...but the pros outweigh the cons. There is little to nothing in this TV that I dont like or can complain and I recommend this to anyone who is in the market for a 32" screen TV. We love this TV!! will keep updating this review as I find more about this awesome TV...

Strengths: Great picture on both SD and HD channels
Weaknesses: Sound breaks up frequently on HD channels with a direct cable connection (no set top box).
Summary: At first I was very happy with this set, but a couple of weeks later, the sound on HD channels started to break up for a few seconds every few minutes. According to posts on the Samsung CNET forum, this is not an isolated case. People have had their audio boards and the whole set replaced only to have the problem return. If Samsung does not acknowledge this problem and fix it shortly, I am going to return this set and ask for a refund.
