Strengths: Picture quality. Sound. Easy to navigate menus. Nice touch controls on the set itself.

Weaknesses: None! Heard there was an issue with a fan not working on some sets which caused them to turn themselves off. Have not seen it on mine. I am sure Samsung will stand behind any with the problem.

Summary: Beautiful picture! Amazing picture when viewing high def channels! I can't imagine there is a better LCD picture on the market. Love the 120 MHz for high def sports viewing! Can't wait to get the blue-ray and experience the full 1080P!

Weaknesses: None that I can think of. The contrast ratio is 50000 and it makes every view spectacular on HD broadcasts.

Summary: Cetainly a TV to reckon with. I almost bought and earlier 46" Samsung model and it was very bice, but I am glad I waited for this new series to arrive.

Summary: I love my new tv. TV has a great quality picture and very easy to operate. Has many perks and options and its slimline size is great over my mantel. I would definately purchase it again.

Strengths: Excellent picture quality, HD channels look crystal clear like looking out through a window, brilliant colors, bright screen with great blacks. 120 Hz processing surely makes a difference.

Weaknesses: Analog and SD channels are just OK to watch (shouldn't be an issue next year). The remote control "rotary" navigation wheel is too sensitive, is easier to use the wheel as a "clicker".

Summary: I haven't observed any TBE (triple ball effect) that reportedly used to be an issue with last year's 120 Hz models of Samsung. I didn't experience any auto-shut off issues with the TV either but nonetheless, I upgraded the firmware to version 1.003 that Samsung released in the 1st week of April 08. Audio is fine but not too great. Oh, I have used it as a monitor for my Dell Laptop to view TV program episodes (online), and the picture is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with HD programs! I am using a DVI to HDMI cable to hook up the laptop. All in all, a great TV, WE LOVE IT!!

Weaknesses: Touch panel labels hard to see.

Summary: I was all set on buying another brand name when I saw this model on display and it blew my mind. The color and contrast were unbelievable. The 50K to 1 contrast ratio are for real. The colors are vivid.

Strengths: Pretty set sitting there

Weaknesses: Brand new out of the box NG. Turned it on and flickered and went off. After trying a few times then came a burning smell and smoke. Waiting for replacement right now.

Summary: The set is pretty. It has the Touch of Color reddish tone frame. Price was great at Amazon and they are very customer oriented. When I told them about the burning Smoke they order me another set. Also these people work 24/7 so Amazon so far has been great. But I am hoping this was a fluke and not the norm for Samsung LCD's .

Strengths: Price, Connections, Upgradeable firmware, Easy to navigate menus, Sound Quality

Weaknesses: More Internet features could of been included. Stock quotes don't seem worth the time to setup the ticker symbols.

Summary: We picked up this TV at a local Circuit City a few weeks back. The price has dropped off another $200 dollars which makes this TV a really great buy. We didn't even hook up our 5.1 surround sound receiver after hearing how awesome the sound is out of just the TV!

Strengths: Deep rich blacks with 50,000 to 1 contrast ratio. Stylish design with "Touch of Red" border. Amazing vibrant colors. Feels like you're right there when watching HD. The SD picture also better than mos

Weaknesses: Remote is terrible especially the jog dial! Buy the Harmony One remote. There is definite glare due to the black glossy screen but not as bad with the TV on.

Summary: My son has a Sony XBR 52" which he loves but the Samsung has the better picture and more contrast. Have had NO RESTART ISSUES. I bought this from Amazon (great delivery customer service) and got back over $300 in credits because of their 30 day price guarantee! I hooked up my DVD and Cable box directly to the TV with HDMI cables (got a kit from Costco for $60 along with an optical cable). I did months of research and am EXTREMELY fussy and detail oriented and boy am I glad I waited for this set-we LOVE it!

Weaknesses: The remote I fould it confusing. The turn wheel like everyone else said is hard to use.

Summary: I am pleased and I feel I got it for a fair price. But it is hard to use with the remote that came with it. I am very please with the colors.

Strengths: Great picture, nice look, swivel stand, lots of features.

Weaknesses: Some look better than others.

Summary: First, this is a very popular television, and for good reason. This TV has excellent picture quality, decent sound and lots of features. The InfoLink was a neat feature; I ended up using it more than I would have expected. In addition, there are a wealth of settings and adjustments to make the TV look just right. I purchased 2 of these televisions. The first one has a real bright spot in the center of the TV. I lived with it for a month, and then returned it. The second TV would not tune channels 5 - 45. Go figure. It was also very slow to respond to inputs from the remote or the buttons on the set. After doing some research, I have found out that this TV has picture issues from time to time. I since have returned this TV and purchased the next model up, the LN46A750. If you can get a TV that does not have the Picture issues, then it will be a great TV for you. I recommend testing the TV thoroughly in a dark room as soon as you receive it. This way, you will know exactly how the TV looks and works when you could still return it. Overall, this TV with no issues would be a 4.5/5 but because if the possible issues, I rated it 3/5.

Strengths: Color quality, clarity, looks

Weaknesses: No S-video or composite inputs. Standard definition channeles look blocky.

Summary: This televsion set is absolutley amazing. I have it hooked up to digital cable and the hi-def channels are so clear and vivid it's almost unbelievable. However, be aware standard definition programming will look worse than your old analog tube TV unless you sit pretty far back from the TV. I was also bummed to see there was no S-video or composite inputs. Sure these are older inputs, but I have some older components I'd like to use with it.

Summary: The samsung ln-46a650 is a true 1080p lcd flat panel tv. It's one of the best rated units on the market. If I had to purchase another it would be a easy decision. You can't go wrong with this one.

Strengths: Crisp, clear picture, lots of inputs

Weaknesses: Nothing significant: the dial on the remote is oversensitive, takes a couple of seconds to turn on

Summary: I am a casual TV-person, not an electronics expert. However I did shop around quite a bit when looking for a TV for our home theater. I was originally planning on purchasing last year's 46" Samsung, but delayed too long and then this new model came out. However, it seems even better than last year's - and it was less expensive. The picture is fantastic. We watch several movies per week, and this TV shows them all fantastically, as it does cable hdtv. Analog TV suffers as on all large screen LCDs, but is actually much better than on an older 40" Sony we have. It does take about 2 seconds to turn on, though, which our Sony does not do.I also like the design - the somewhat glossy screen and although it's not a functional feature, the slight red on the perimeter does go with a red accent wall we have (although it's very suble, so if you don't have any red elsewhere it won't be noticeable). The remote is nice, backlit. A minor annoyance is the sensitivity of the dial in the middle. I often end up skipping past the option I want in the menus.Overall I'd highly recommend this product.

Strengths: Swivel stand produce less heat power than plasma.

Weaknesses: Out of focus sharpness, laggy for 120hz set, stuttering fast foward AMP feature, cheapy design, blind touch screen price.

Summary: This HDTV is the worst major purchase I ever made. Why you ask, my other hdtv Panasonic 720P 60hz 42 inch plasma?s picture is 10 time better than this TV(did compare side by side) and much cheaper. And it display closed caption properly on both SDTV and HDTV mode whilst this TV can?t display CC on SDTV mode. My 60hz plasma display picure motion is way smooth than this laggy 120hz set. Right now my TV about 2 week old and already have a flashlight issue on three corner which I just found out that is common on this model. Go buy this TV if you want out of focus picture, purple haze, flashlight with loose bezel on the corner of your frame. I still can?t believe I pay $1,400 for this set compare to my old plasma set. I wish I went out and bought a plasma HDTV instead of this Samsung garbage. The only best thing about this purchase is fast smooth shipping by Buydig.
