Strengths: Slim, Crisp, Clear and 1080p HiDef
Weaknesses: A little bit expensive
Summary: This is a brand name LCD TV from Sharp. Overall, it is one of the best in the 37' LCD TVs. Need more money to buy than other brand like Olevia.

Strengths: Clean design, with a sharp and bright picture. Handles just about any input you need.
Weaknesses: Some menu items aren't obvious, such as Channel Skip. QAM tuner picked up many channels where there was no signal.
Summary: Purchased this TV for a large bedroom. Mounted the wall bracket pieces, connected the cables, and hung it up.The channel search took quite a while and found nearly 200 channels which surprised me. I ran through the channels only to find that dozens of them had no signal: possibly they were from the "Music Channels" resident on the cable.Tried to use the skip function but couldn't find it. So after searching the direction manual I found them in under the Channel memory section. This took about an hour to do, after checking each channel to see what was real versus what wasn't.I then set up the TV, which I found rather easy. There was a location setting, asking whether this TV would be used in a Home or a Store. Found that interesting...The colors are fantastic, looking bright but not overly so. Scenes flowed smoothly with no ghosting that I could see in fast-action sequences. The sound was very good, although the "surround sound" setting didn't seem much different than the standard setting. One thing I noticed is that my older Sharp LC-32D6U showed what signal type (1080i, 720P, etc.) was being viewed when you changed channels. I didn't see it on the LC-37D64U, but I'm still looking. One caveat: the TV has a small "hump" about 3" wide and 1" deep running along the back at the bottom of the TV. This pretty much blocked access to the locking screw on the bracket, which was a Peerless model, not the Sharp bracket. Not a big issue with my installation; but if mounted where it may be bumped, just be aware that they might be difficult to lock down. All in all this TV would be a great addition to any room.

Strengths: Quick set up. Good integration of cable and over-the-air channels. OK picture.
Weaknesses: Speaker quality bad. Sleep button hidden. Audio inputs do not work. Channel surfing painfully slow. Remote input sensitivity terrible. Menu not intuitive.
Summary: Bought this because it was the only model that would fit into my expensive, older entertainment center. Set up was easy. Picture quality was just OK. Regular use was alright once I got it to a channel I wanted to watch, but getting it there was painful. The remote is horrible. Using the channel changing button is useless - too slow. Trying to key the channel number into the remote sometimes takes multiple attempts. The biggest problem though was when I tried to attach a DVD, Wii, and XBox360. My audio inputs don't work. Got in touch with the manufacturer after MANY attempts. Kept getting the run around. They did schedule someone to come fix the TV, but that was 2 weeks ago ... and I am still waiting.
