LG's sleek 32LB9D is a good-looking flat-panel HDTV. Its performance is fine as well, with a sharp, clear good-definition picture, user can enjoy from anywhere in the room. LG's "Super-IPS" screen technology provides more consistent color and contrast at wider viewing angles.

Strengths: Contrast is fantastic. Blacks are really black!Image quality excellent.Color is excellent.(3) HDMI Inputs
Weaknesses: Audio is of marginal quality ... but OK.Slow start-up ... 15-20 seconds. No PIP (Picture in Picture).Only rear connections.
Summary: Exceptional value. This set compares very favorably with the (equivalent) Sony and Samsung models but is available at a much lower price. The negatives I mention are relatively minor. Not only do HDTV channels look fantastic, but standard channels look great as well. I highly recommend this set.

Strengths: Fantastic picture quality, price
Weaknesses: Slight delays when changing channels, and TV start up
Summary: Overall I would recommend this TV. It is a good value for the price. The picture quality is excellent. I am currently only getting tv off the antenna, and I was very supprised at the quality of picture I was getting on the digital channels. The analog channels were not as clear but acceptable, but analog is going away soon anyway so not to important. When playing dvds the picture is also excellent. The only flaw I see is the slight delay when flipping through the channels. It also takes a moment to turn on at start up. Niether of which is serious just takes getting used to. I like this TV.

Strengths: Value, Features, Size
Weaknesses: Rear connections only
Summary: This television is definitely a great value. It is the perfect size for our bedroom. It has exceptional features that other 32" LCD HDTV's just don't offer. The picture is very clear and the sound is good. I love that the picture adjusts to the brightness of the light in the room and that you get a clear picture from any angle. It was also super easy to set up straight out of the box. I love this television so much, we plan on purchasing another one for my office.

Weaknesses: Instruction manualLacks some settings that I've seen in other TV's
Summary: I'm extremely impressed with this set. The HD picture is beautiful, and the SD picture is surprisingly good. The instruction manual, which is on a CD, is not the greatest, and some of the settings are not clear as to their function. When watching a 4:3 picture in 16:9, some TV's have a setting that keeps the center of the picture in its normal proportion and stretches the outside of the screen. This one doesn't - it offers 4:3, 16:9, zoom 1 and zoom 2. I've never been a fan of using zoom to fill the screen. But, I'm extremely impressed by the quality of the SD picture even using the zoom. And, zoom 2 crops a little and stretches a little, and works extremely well. You don't really lose much on the cropping and the stretching is pretty inobtrusive. This is the setting that I've been using for all SD programs except football, since you do lose the scores at the bottom of the screen. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this model.
