Strengths: The picture is fine in non-HD and excellent in HD. The side viewing angle is good; there is some loss of clarity but the viewing is still acceptable.

Weaknesses: The changing of channels was much quicker with our analog tv. We do find this tv's channel changing on the slow side.

Summary: This is our first LCD tv and we absolutely love it. The size is perfect for our space and the remote was easy to use. The speakers are sufficient and as expected for this price level tv. I would recommend this tv to anyone.

Summary: The KDL-37M3000 is currently Sony's only 37" LCD TV. In 2008, there will be the KDL-37M4100. The M series are 720p and they also comes in a 32" model. The picture is excellent. Since the screen size is less than 40", the need for 1080p is debatable. The M series is a good choice if you don't need all the bells and whistles of Sony S, V, W or XBR series. I purchased mine from Crutchfield for $999.99 delivered. It was the best price that I found from a reputable dealer.

Strengths: The picture and ease of set up!! Plus the large number of options of ports on the back!!

Plus it works great with all our other sony products, can use any sony remote with television capabilities to do all the regular tasks. The picture is awsome, so crisp and clear.
