Strengths: Good value if it works. Nice picture and easy to operate
Weaknesses: Mine already quit working and I've owned it for less than a month. Westinghouse customer service is terrible.
Summary: My unit quit working after about 15 days. I understand that with all electronics there will be a lemon once in a while, but what is more frustrating is the way Westinghouse has handled the situation. I've called them three times now over the last 7 days and I still do not have the return authorization. Each time they tell me some one will be contacting me, but then no one calls. I would think that Westinghouse would be more responsive being that I have owned the unit for less than thirty days.

Strengths: the color is great even without having to calibrate the settings. unit has built in ATSC tuner, easy to set up, remote user friendly, and most importantly price point
Weaknesses: can not find one thus far in one day of usage.
Summary: i did some brief research about LCD tvs in this size and price range. westinghouse seemed to give me a lot of bang for the buck. purchased it at Costco which extends manufacturer's warranty to two full years. tv is light and picture is crisp and clear. i have hooked it up to my attenna and not a cable or dish receiver yet. the digital signal from the networks is very good. the analog signal is weaker so the picture is lower in quality. i will be attaching a dish receiver with HD capability soon and am excited about the potential results. i am very happy with this unit thus far - one day new!

Strengths: good price,good quality,nice connections,easy hookup
Weaknesses: green flickering screen in between channels.
Summary: When I got this TV from best buy it was on sale for $529. Then with tax it came out to be $574.51. Well I was not happy with something?s of this unit. First I got a DVR/HD box from Comcast. It had a connection for a HDMI cable. So I bought an hdmi cable from best buy. The cable I bought was an Acoustic Research HDMI cable. That costed me $59.99. So I hooked it up and the first thing that I saw was that when I change channels I get a green flickering screen in between channels. So I called Westinghouse and told them what was going on. They said they haven?t heard anything like that before. So I called Comcast to come out and check my dvr/hd box unit that they gave me. They said everything is working well. So it wasn?t the box. So I thought it maybe the HDMI cable. So I took it back and got a Monster cable ultra 600 that costed me $99.99. I thought that would fix the green flickering screen when I change channels, but it didn?t. So I went back to best buy and talked to one of the sales reps. He didn?t know exactly what it was either. It looked like it happens from HD channels and regular channels. So other sales reps told me that he had the same problem with his Westinghouse TV. So I figured that it?s just not only my TV. So I am going to take it back today and get a Sharp or a Sony TV. I heard good things about those brands. The only thing that was ignoring was the green flickering in between channels. So beware even when I had the other component cables hooked up from the dvr/hd box to my TV I got a weird fazing screen when I changed channels. So that?s what I am going to do is to return it back to best buy!

Strengths: Great picture, great broadcast reception, very intuitive remote and menus, sharp picture
Weaknesses: Stand seems somewhat flimsy, problems with audio/video synchronization.
Summary: This is a sweet LCD TV! I have had some misgivings regarding its problem, but am willing to try to overcome that. I purchased my first unit of the SK-26H520S (yes, I know this is not the same model, but review wasn't available with that unit. I suspect they have the same pluses and minuses) several weeks ago to replace my old CRT that was in our kitchen and was very pleased with its ease of setup, with the wonderfully sharp picture and with the cracker jack reception it provided. The paperwork that comes with this unit is straightforward, almost too simplistic. However, whatever shortcomings there are with the owner's manual and the quick-start guide are all made up for by the very intuitive remote. The menus that come up on the screen with a touch of the menu button give you an easy understanding of what is available for you to accomplish. This is really, for someone who hates going through confusing owners manuals trying to find anything, a huge godsend!!The picture on this LCD is rich, crisp and beautiful. One problem I noticed was that, if you get off vertical center (not so with horizontal or side to side), the brightness falls off and must be adjusted. I am not sure if this is a problem with all LCD's, but had been led to understand it's not usually the case. However, if you have a specific viewing angle that you use most of the time (as most of us do), you can just set your viewing preference to that angle and all will be well. I saw very little pixelation with this unit, something that I could not say for another (LG 26") I tried. Westinghouse has done their homework with this. There were two concerns I have had with this unit. First, the base is attached in a flimsy manner. It attaches with four screws, Plastice to plastic and seems wobbly. Not much for engendering faith in its ability to stay atop the base! However, there doesn't seem to be any problem, so perhaps I'm just worrying over nothing.Second and more serious is the problem with the audio/video synch. The unit I have now is the second unit. My first unit worked fine in all ways, except after about ten to fifteen minutes, the audio would go out of synch with the video, no matter if I was watching broadcast, vhs or dvd. It could be corrected by turning the set off and back on, but that doesn't make for a pleasant viewing experience!!! I took back the first unit to Sam's Club and went on a further search for another, more expensive unit (an LG 26"). This ended in my taking THAT unit back, as its broadcast reception and picture quatlity were unbelievably bad when compared to the Westinghouse. So I went back to Sam's and am trying again. I have a questioning email out to Westinghouse, but after several days, they haven't even acknowledged reception of the same (not a very good statement on their handling of problems), so perhaps with this new unit I'll have better luck. BTW, I noticed a review on Amazon of another who has had the same problem, so perhaps it's a "feature" of this unit. :)
