Strengths: commercial grade
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I dont think this unit is available anymore as of July 2008 unless it is refurbished so these comments are not of real use to someone buying one unless it is in fact refurbished. However, if it is and you find it at a good price and you can transfer the 2 year warranty I think it would be a good purchase. This unit has the connections and quality one needs. It if fact is overkill but you can rest easy knowing you have all functions you need. The picture reproduces fine at 720 although standard signals as in all lcds are not as good qaulity as in a standrd tv. Quality build is good. The remote is good. Setup is easy. The unit is simple but looks good. We like it.

Strengths: Easy to set up; picture is sharp and bright; very versatile with 3 HDMI, 2 component, and 2 s-video/composite inputs
Weaknesses: Delay in channel or input source changing can be irritating at times
Summary: This being our first HDTV, I cannot make a comparison with other high definition televisions. I can, however, say that our experience with the HP LT3200 has been mostly positive. We are currently receiving over-the-air channels and using the two component video inputs for video game consoles and DVD players with progressive scan. The picture has been very sharp and bright from all sources that we have tried. The sound system and speakers are more than adequate for general TV watching. Set up was very easy. The few complaints we have, which are more like annoyances, include the following: there is more than a noticeable delay when changing channels or input sources, the input jacks are only on the right side which is inconvenient if your equipment is on the left side and the blue standby light is very bright, especially if using this TV in the bedroom. Overall, a very good value if you can get the LT 3200 at a discount.

Strengths: Simple to use. Control panel is on the lower right side. Easy to use without remote
Weaknesses: Some how I can not adjust the resolution from standard to high definition (480p to 720p)
Summary: This TV is very easy to control. The remote is very simple. The sound of the TV is not so great that I have to buy a sound bar from Sony to use with it. There are three HDMI input. This TV is made for commercial; therefore, you don't have to worry about pixels burning. Last of all, the customer service from HP is perfect.

Strengths: High-quality cabinet, lots of inputs, great speakers
Weaknesses: Power input and some other inputs are on the side
Summary: At first I was a little skeptical about a TV from HP... but the image comes out great through OTA HD, although it looks a little muddy at 720p on some channels. The speakers are one of the greatest I've ever heard on a TV set. 2-year warranty gives you that extra peace of mind.

Strengths: Very easy and simple to use
Weaknesses: There is no option to adjust resolution step by step such as 480 to 720 and 1080.
Summary: Bough it directly from HP with a 50% discount. With this low price, it is hard to find a quality LCD TV like this one on the market. The picture is so clear at 720p or 1080i. There are also three HDMIs input for this TV. You can connect more components to it. This TV has two years full warranty from HP; therefore, you don't have to worry about it for two years.

Strengths: Great HDTV picture, good sound, many inputs.
Weaknesses: No backlight control.
Summary: Got a great deal from a HP sale. It has a simple elegant style and sits firmly on the stand. This TV is incredible with an HD input. Analog signal is poor, like most LCDs. Standard digital signal is acceptable. The side angle viewing is wide with no loss of quality. I updated the firmware which improved picture quality. The two year, in-home warranty is better than most other sets.

Strengths: pricing, sound
Weaknesses: backlight bleeding
Summary: Overall I think this is a good buy. Didn't try all the inputs, just OTA and component. Both input got good results. Backlight is relatively a big problem. Also, since I put this unit in my bedroom, need to use a tape to cover the power indicator. It's way too bright.

Strengths: Good quality tv for the price
Weaknesses: Remote
Summary: Tvis great for the price. Was only looking for a bedroom tv anyay and a 32" was perfect. The remote for this unit is not great. Also the response time from switching to channel to channel is very slow. But the design is fine and good enough for me for a little while.

Strengths: quality, color
Weaknesses: menus,remote
Summary: This TV is a great looking TV but, i have a few dislikes also. The menu is complicated, im still trying to figure it out. The Remote is HUGE, it doesnt need to be that big. I also found out the the TV needs to be updated with its software.

Strengths: simple stylish design, 2 year onsite warranty
Weaknesses: menus are somewhat difficult to navigate, no picture in picture
Summary: Jumped on this set in April 2008 when HP decided to sell them at a reduced price of $500. This unit is described as for use in commercial environments ie being on 24 hours a day. I am not certain whether the circuitry is any different in their consumer line of lcd televisions but time will tell. I dont think it matters much anyways as the "bulb" is rated at 60,000 hours mean time betwee failure....that is 20 years of tv 8 hours a day or something like that. It will either work out of the box or fail soon thereafter and if so, you have the onsite warranty. As for features, it has all inputs you would want including hdmi and vga and includes a usb port for flash upgrades avaialble from their site. Apparently, there is an upgrade that one should obtain and use as of April 2008. I have not yet done so but will report back later as to the before and after affects if any. The image is very good with over the air digital signals and component in signals and less so as to analog cable signals. It is generally pleasing to me. It is of course a personal preference but I am very satisfied with the unit for the price. It has sufficient bells and whistles and comes from a reputable manufacturer. There may be complaints of image quality, backlighting etc but at this price point there is nothing to complain about.
