Apple IPod Nano 1GB MP3 Player
Apple - MA352LLARelease Date: Sep 2005
When it comes to iPod nano, you need to reconsider your definition of “small.” Slip it in your pocket — it weighs less than a handful of change. Or wear it around your neck and forget it’s there. Want to take it for a jog? No problem. Your music will never skip.

Strengths: Returned my money fast.
Weaknesses:
Summary: I was not happy that I had to wait for a fake Ipod. You should be aware of these kind of things or they should post some kind of picture of what you are really going to get not a standard apple ipod.

Strengths: no moving parts, truly pocketable
Weaknesses: black shows scratches easily, can be uncomfortable for big hands
Summary: i think the ipod nano is the best ipod so far. sound quality is awesome, it's small enough to carry comfortably in your pocket, and since it's flash-based, it doesn't have any moving parts... you can jog with it and not worry about hard drive damage. i definitely recommend the white one because it doesn't show scratches as easily as the black one, although a good case can eliminate scratches altogether. the only disadvantage is that it may be a little TOO small for some people. if you have big hands you may find the nano's scroll wheel a bit cramped. The smaller screen, however, is perfectly readable. no squinting involved. some say the 2gb or 4gb is a better deal, but this thing holds over 12 hours of music. if you need more, then just update the songs... what's the problem with that? save the extra $ for accessories.

Strengths: Small, fits anywhere, it has the "cool factor," and the screen is great so you can choose your playlists and pick what you want to hear next.
Weaknesses: Needs a cover or case for added protection--you don't want to drop it.
Summary: I love the nano. I also have a 20GB iriver, but this rocks my socks. Great size, and it fits absolutely anywhere. Very easy to use, I would recommend this for anyone who doesn't want to hassle with a larger MP3 player. This is all you need for an on-the-go person.

Strengths: beautiful shape, easy-to-use interface..
Weaknesses: easy to be scratched, battery performance
Summary: I owned several mp3 player, inlcuding the Creative muvo, Iriver i-190, and the iPod nano. As for the comparsion of the sound quality, the creative muvo is the best, and the ipod is the weakest one. Although the ipod nano comes with the perfect shape, I don't like to use the itune to update the music files to my ipod from my computer. I still prefer to use the file manager to draw and copy from the hard driver.

Strengths: Easy to use, small, good battery life
Weaknesses: Need a case so you don't hit the buttons accidentally
Summary: This iPod is great! I have been able to download all kinds of songs. Easy to use if you are familiar with them. The directions aren't exactly explicit, but you can manage to get though it ok if you just use a bit of sense. I would recommend this to anyone looking for their 1st iPod. You will definitley outgrow any smaller ones, and this one hold enough info to sustain you for a while.

Strengths: Plays up to 250 songs and could play movies and save pictures clearly
Weaknesses: well since its only 1 gb it only holds 250 songs next time ill buy one with more memory
Summary: The apple black nano is so adorable and cute. Its manageable and i could bring it any where since its so tiny. I absolutley love my ipod nano. Plus since its so tiny i could hide it any where on my clothing and also the best part is i love to bring it into the gym and work out with it.

Strengths: size, lightweight, easy to download songs
Weaknesses: none
Summary: When i heard that apple brought their prices down on their ipods i immediately bought one. This is my first ipod and i absolutely love it. Love the size, love the color, love the sound quality and its very user friendly. transfering songs from my pc to the ipod is very quick. iT also has a sound equalizer (EQ) so you can adjust your sound the way you want it. Its perfect to use for long trips and on the gym. I heard that it scratches easily so the first thing i did is to buy a case. I dont want to take any chances on my beautiful ipod. My only regret is i should have bought the 2G for only 30 dollars more.

Summary: I'm buying two of these for my kids. They make for a great portable mp3 player that doesn't get in the way. My kids had the shuffle and now are moving up to the Nano. I like the color and design. I'm sure they will appreciate the new gift.

Strengths: the size is awesome and the ear phones that come with it are very convienent.
Weaknesses: the wheel is so sensitive sometimes the volume goes up when you would rather it go down
Summary: The disc that comes with this to download on the computer is an inconvienence. Ive got windows me and the disk requires windows 2000, windows xp. So for me (and I cant be the only one) to get my music to my I POD i have to borrow everyone elses computer for the simple fact that upgrades for computers dont come cheap.

Strengths: Size, User interface.
Weaknesses: Surface marks easily
Summary: The incredible shrinking iPod! I've been using iPods since the very first model and have passed my "hand-me-downs" onto my kids. I bought this to use at the gym and while running, not to replace my Video model. The size is amazing and it remains the best designed MP3 player available.

Strengths: Small, same great iPod interface, flash technology.
Weaknesses: Fragile, pics, no video.
Summary: My dog ate my iPod! I had to toss my pristine 4G iPod and replace it immediately. The Nano is an improvement on the 4G iPod because it has a color screen and is so small. The photo view will come in handy for showing pictures on the go. It's only 1GB of onboard storage, but not a big deal, because I frequently update it. If you need more, a 2GB is available. It takes the same charger and headphones as the 4G did, so those accessories are useful. I needed to replace my Griffin iTrip however. Pick one of these up if you need a quality MP3 player.
