Strengths: -Great User Interface-WIFI-Internet, email- Good Built

Weaknesses: - Recessed headphone jack

Summary: All in all, this is a great device. I love how intuitive and easy to use it is. The way this handles pictures, music, video, and everything else is just great. One of the best things about the Ipod Touch is that it can browse the internet; the great thing is, it can zoom in on anything just right for you to read it.

Strengths: User interface, WiFi, Ipod, Expandibility

Weaknesses: Lacks External Speaker, Sharp Edging, Add-on Costs

Summary: This device may be called an iPod, but don't let that fool you. If you just want an iPod that you can play while your working or exercising this may not be your best choice since you need to see what your doing to control (unlike other mp3 players). But it is what the iPod touch does when your looking at it that is special. In addition to music this device has the capability to be so much more. Just checkout the Apple website for a tour. One not so nice development is that feature updates from Apple will need to be purchased. Apple's January updates cost earlier buyers an additional $20 to add them to the device. If your in the market to purchase this device be sure to know whether your device includes these updates. Amazon is currently selling both revisions at different price points.

Strengths: Great intuitive interface, wi-fi

Weaknesses: You can't download podcasts directly from itouch.Impossible to control 'blind' like you can other ipods.

Summary: The iTouch easily connects to wireless networks, even with WEP encryption. I use it on my encrypted network at home, at school, and on public networks just about everywhere else I go. Battery life is quite good if you don't use wireless too much (even better if you turn it off completely). The interface is so intuitive, anyone can use it right out of the box! This is probably the only ipod that can't be controlled without looking at it. This could be a problem for you if you mostly use your ipod in the car, etc. Unfortunately you can't yet download podcasts wirelessly. You have to use iTunes for that. Wireless music downloads work fine.

Strengths: This ipod is very easy to work and you don't have to go through all the scrolling the same way. The ipod turns diffrent way, it is amazing!!

Weaknesses: The battery lasts like 1/6 of the time that other ipods do. It is kinda big.

Summary: The itouch is has it's flaws but is very compatable. This device will do about anything you want just like the iphone but w/o the other phone (duh) and i love it soooooo much! it is amazing. The only

Strengths: WiFi, Touch Interface, Lightweight, 3.5" Screen.

Weaknesses: Battery life is shorter if watching videos.

Summary: This is truly the best iPod out there. I previously had an iPod Video 5.5 Generation, this clearly wins. Internet, iTunes, YouTube, no other iPod has had these. A very great product. You can easily overlook the sometimes short battery life and realize that this is a great product.

Strengths: Ease of use, touch screen

Weaknesses: No storage capability, no internal speaker

Summary: This is a great MP3 player. I have always wanted an MP3 player and the iPod touch is the best. I really like the cover flow. Accessing playlists is easy and the wi-fi access is great for surfing the web. It plays videos movies and podcasts. The screen is very clear and is just the right size for showing off your pictures.

Strengths: High tech. Touch screen controls.

Weaknesses: internet connection

Summary: I bought this as a gift for christmas and when we had to set up the internet connect it became a bit complicated in which it took about 20 minutes to set up. Afterwards everything else worked fine. The picture for the videos are excellent. One thing that i can't comprehend is why it has contacts options since it's not like you can use it to call someone.

Strengths: Display, screen size, extra features like Internet, You Tube, and ITunes store

Weaknesses: No camera, doesn't open some websites

Summary: I am very satisfied with this IPod touch. It is much cooler than the previous models. It is big enough to watch videos but still really thin and easy to carry. The sleek design makes it much better than the previous IPods. I got the 8GB but I would recommend getting the 16GB so you can fit more videos on there. One of the best aspects of this IPod is the fact that you can access the Internet and You Tube right from it. However, some websites that require "Flash" do not open. The tough screen is great, but sometimes you have to press the button a couple times in order for it to work. It's better than the IPhone because you do not have to pay a subscription fee or anything. It also has a calendar and calculator features. It is not difficult to use. The battery power is really good because you can turn off the display when you are listening to music to conserve the battery. You can also load your photos on the Ipod and even set them as the wallpaper. However, I wish it also had a camera. The display colors/brightness is also really good. Overall, it is a very good MP3 player.

Strengths: gorgeous screen, wifi, you tube.

Weaknesses: capacity

Summary: If your considering buying the touch then i hope this helps you make up your mind. The Good - First off, there are NO more screen defects. those were all worked out in earlier weeks of production. This is probably the first ipod made that is woth watching a movie on. The screen really is gorgeous and the touch interface is worth all the hoopla.Doing almost anything on this ipod is fun, because you get to touch and flick through everything. As always the sound and picture quality is amazing, so no surprises there. The wifi is quick and safari is the best you can get next to an actual computer. The Bad - The 8/16 space. Now it's mainly a problem because of the space video takes up.I would recommend the 16gb, it gives you plenty of room to switch outthe songs movies and such you need to take with you.

Strengths: Attractive design, gorgeous display, slim, ease of use, Wifi with ?real? Internet

Weaknesses: No charger included, battery life could be better, back can be easily scratched, no camera

Summary: Apple did it again! The Ipod touch is by far the best portable media player money can buy. Actually calling it just a media player is an understatement. The device is a true piece of art starting from the attractive design which looks very similar to the iPhone, but almost twice slimmer. The user interface is very innovative featuring the ?multi touch? technology which is very intuitive and easy to use. Menus are very user friendly with impressive graphics specially for scrolling your picture, video or music albums. The device comes with built in Wifi for internet browsing, and is the only portable device ?along with the iPhone- that enables you the real Internet like you see it on your home PC and not a stripped down version of it. You can zoom in and out using 2 fingers, see your webpage in portrait or landscape simply by turning the device in the direction you want. The sound and video quality are great. The video specially is impressive since the 3.5" screen offers a great resolution and a crisp and sharp picture. Almost like having a little plasma TV in the palm of your hand.I would?ve loved it even more if the battery would last more specially when playing lots of videos or browsing the web. The battery life is decent though if you listen to music more often than watch videos. Also no charger is included, only the USB cable, which means you need to use your PC to charge your ipod. That is kind of annoying specially that the device is not cheap. It wouldn?t have cost Apple that much to throw in a charger or even a nice docking station instead of selling them separately. Although the screen has some anti scratch coating, I noticed that the shiny back of the device is very easily scratched. Apple should?ve thought of coating the device front and back. Having a camera would?ve also been a nice addition, though the iPhone already comes with it. Overall, this is a must have gadget for any portable media or technology enthusiast. The 16 GB version is also available if you?re willing to spend a $100 more.

Strengths: Slim design, easy to use, great menus

Weaknesses: Short battery life. Trouble connecting to my wireless router that is encrypted.

Summary: This is the best ipod yet. It's display is crystal clear. The menus are easy to use. I was able to sync my old songs from my previous ipod without any problems. The only issue I have is connecting to my wireless router for Wi-fi. My router is encrypted but I do not want to decrypt it to pick up the signal since others in my area can catch my signal. I'm sure there is a way around this but I haven't figured it out yet.All in all this is the perfect gift for the holidays.

Strengths: The great iPhone interface without having to buy the iPhone (or switch to ATT for wireless)

Weaknesses: Battery only lasts a few hours when using device to browse the web.

Summary: Bought this great little gadget intent to get a web browser with an added MP3 player. So far, the device is a joy to use at home and at work. It is heavier than it looks but not too much to hold (I think it weighs more than you'd expect because the screen is glass instead of plastic). This device is as thin as an iPod Nano but otherwise roughly the dimensions of a regular iPod or an iPhone. The one gripe I have with it so far is that browsing the web drains the battery in 3-4 hours. Apple didn't post how long the battery would last in that scenario so I imagine, if you use it for just music or just videos with WIFI turned off, the battery will last as advertised. Also, after browsing the web for a while, the device feels noticeably warm to the touch (must be working harder to browse the web than to play music). Overall though, it is a nifty little gadget that I am glad I bought!
