Strengths: Tiny signature and good sound quality.
Weaknesses: A little too small to fit a guy's hand, and the sound quality of the earphones is not good enough.
Summary: Bought this player as a Christmas gift and hence got some chances to try it. This player is very small compared to other players I have used, and is hence a perfect gift for a girl. The operation of this player is very easy which almost makes the manual useless. The bad thing about it is the lack of a wall outlet charger, which may lead to some inconvenience if a computer is not on hand.

Strengths: Compact, Has FM Tuner, Can record music from external sources w/o a PC using line-in, Non-proprietary USB charging cord included, Excellent storage capacity for the money, Long battery life.
Weaknesses: Does not include A/C charging cord, Not as many accessories readily available as some other brands of MP3 Players, Takes up to 6 hours to charge fully via the included USB charging cable.
Summary: I bought the Creative Zen V Plus 2GB MP3 Player for my husband for Christmas after doing a lot of online research. I liked the fact that it was reasonably priced and had the FM tuner and line-in feature. My husband absolutely loves it! He has uploaded about 300 high bit-rate tracks and still has room to spare even with the preloaded images and videos still on it. It is great that this MP3 Player also has the ability to view photos and videos, and the OLED screen resolution is stunning!

Strengths: Good sound. Small size.
Weaknesses: Battery not changable.
Summary: I need a mp3 player on Napster's compatible list. We compared with other brand. We want flash memory type which is shake resistant. We keep it in sync with pc, so 2GB memory can hold about 300 sound, big enough. This one have mp3, video, FM radio, direct line in recording. Rich functionality for the price.

Strengths: This MP3 player is awesome! It stores all my pictures, music, and videos.
Weaknesses: None yet, I bought it recently.
Summary: I recently bought this MP3 player and I absolutely love it. It is small enough to carry with me wherever I go but versatile enough to perform all the functions I need. The wheel makes it easy to navigate and find my files, pictures, music, and videos. No need for CDs anymore - all my music is in one place! I would definitely recommend this sleek, cool-looking MP3 player!

Strengths: Small, lightweight, sturdy, easy to use menu screens, bookmarking (great for longer audiobooks) very long battery life (15+ hrs), clear sound quality, plays about everything you could desire.
Weaknesses: No included arm band like other Zen models sold as an accessory for ~ $20. There is no resume capability so have to bookmark long videos or audiofiles so you dont have to scan. No UMS capability.
Summary: All in all, this is a great MP3 player, it is very easy to use and seems very sturdy and its size makes it an easy travel companion. I have used it for some long trips and was really impressed with the battery life and the amount of music/audiobooks I could upload onto it. I am a big fan of the audiobooks and was pleased to find the bookmarking capability available so I could return to wherever I left off in case I had to turn the player off for some reason. The lack of an included arm band is a bit annoying since it has become a bit of a necessity if you are going out for a run, bike trip, or to the gym. The only heads up, if you are planning on using this to download files at work and do not have admin rights to your machine, the Zen V plus is not automatically recognized as a usb drive and will require an admin to install some software before you are able to transfer files. If this is not an issue, than no worries. Overall, this is a highly recommended player for anyone who is looking for superior functionality and does not want to shell out a ton of cash in the process.

Strengths: easy to operate, good sound quality
Weaknesses: too small,weak recording quality
Summary: compared to my previcous mp3, this one has good sound quality but weak recording quality. The surface is plastic, making it not as fancy as it looks in the picture. it's easy to operate, and it has several system languages, which means much to me. the strange thing is my PC can not recgonize it through the USB, while it works out on other computers. I'm trying to fix this problem.

Strengths: Small, easy to operate, has calendar organizer
Weaknesses: Built in battery, weak battery life, locks up and freezes.
Summary: This is not my first mp3 player from Creative so I think I've seen the best and the worst of both worlds. This player is the first Creative mp3 which is disappointing. The battery life is not anywhere near their advertised 15 hours of play time. If you play only mp3 without video, it only last maybe 8 hours, so it definitely disappointing to see that Creative it's slipping way down on quality and started to use marketing gimmicks in order to sell their products. Another big problem is that it uses an internal Li-Ion battery so if that dies you pretty much need to throw the player away. The battery is charged via the USB cable with no need for a charger but this is a problem since the charge time to full battery is very long and hence you'll need to let your computer/laptop on while it charges. Sound quality is OK but I've had players with better audio and one of it was an older, much cheaper Creative. Another problem is that sometimes the players freezes and you'll need a full drain of the battery to be able to bring it back to life. Other than that, the player is full of features, but the above problems seems enough for me to try getting another player and avoid the 2GB Creative Zen V Plus!

Strengths: Large screen, good sound quality and ease of use
Weaknesses: Some functions, especially the bookmarks are not intuitive
Summary: This is another great mp3 player by Creative. I bought this for my wife to complement her Zen Nano since this has bookmarks. Does a good job with sound and pictures, and the size of the screen is especially nice for those with eyes over 50 years old!

Strengths: DURABLE!!!!!!, great sound, amazing product
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I have dropped this mp3; down 3 flights of stairs (all at the same time), into a muddy puddle, off a second story porch and it bounced off the pavement into a kiddy pool. I have also put this thing through a washing machine, it has been attacked twice by a dog, and once by a hyper two year old, and not to mention dropped by me hundreds of times! And after all of those things that would of put normal mp3s into a scrap heap, my mp3 works perfectly fine, and the only negative results of all the torture I put this thing through, is just a few tiny scratches on the screen.

Strengths: Great Screen, easy to use interface, actual volume buttons, easy to use, very small and light, Stellar sound quality
Weaknesses: Feels a bit cheap, hard for people with small hands to use, freezes periodically, but not a problem thanks to a reset button
Summary: I have had this player for over a year now and still works extremely well. I love the sound quality on this, better than any other mp3 player i have used. It is also great to have such a small and light player that i can put in my pocket and forget about. It is very easy to use but it may be hard to us the joystick control with gloves or big hands. Great player overall and i would definitely recommend it

Strengths: Easy to work, fairly good sound
Weaknesses: Impossible to see this player when you're in the sunlight. Player freezes up often. Battery charge does not last very long.
Summary: Received this as a Christmas gift. Like it, overall. Biggest disadvantage is trying to see the screen when out in direct sunlight. That is a real disadvantage, especially when you compare it to an IPOD. Player freezes very often and has to be reset. Battery needs to constantly recharge. I need to recharge every 4 - 5 hours.
