Strengths: Nice Speakers and System. Easy assembly.
Weaknesses: Speaker wires are not long enough
Summary: The system looks good in the appearence. The subwoofer is huge. The silver looks better. The sound is great. It has every thing you need for the home theater. The draw back is the speaker wires. They are not long enough. Also, they are too thin. May need to upgrade the wires.

Strengths: Great sound, comes with sound meter, can change speakers at later time
Weaknesses: wish it would send all outputs as HDMI
Summary: One of the things that it doesn't tell you about the sr800 is that it comes with its own programming sound meter. theres a mic port in the front that you plug in the included meter and it adjust your speakers for best sound. this isn't like most home theaters in a box because you can change out the speakers if you wanted to at a later time, it doesn't have the electronic stuff that others have. This has more connections than you will ever need on the back. Also if you have a good remote it will make your life easier, the remote included is very complicated and you have to push several buttons to turn on all your devices so get a good activity based remote. So overall onkyo has always made good products and they continue to do so.
