Strengths: Wireless Rear speakers
Weaknesses: Time consuming to set up
Summary: Unit is a great value for $380. Volume is loud enough if you go into settings and change limits. Must read manual carefully to set up. Match up with Sony TV's a big plus. Reads MP3, CD, DVD, 5 disc change works very well. Does not include cables for TV or any other devices you would normally use as an input. Comes in a huge box, well protected.

Strengths: Excellent value for about $375.
Weaknesses: Has been a little querky. Some times the rear speakers did not initially pick up the signal
Summary: No wires for rear speakers make this easy for rooms where running wires would be difficult. The sound is acceptable and improves the watching experience. It is a good value for $375 but I would not pay $500. For $500 you could probably purchase 5 speakers, subwoofer, receiver and wireless receiver for rear speakers. But for those who want something easy and relatively inexpensive this is a good choice.

Weaknesses: Sound,volume output,input,wireless,remote ...
Summary: In this case you do not get what you pay for. I have read and re-read the instructions to see if I'm missing something, because the sound on this system is barely loud enough for me to hear it, my mother can't hear it on 33 the highest level it has. I am pretty good at hooking up electronics so it isn't new to me. When playing a DVD or CD the volume is good, but if you want to listen to a TV forget it! The rear speakers surround doesn't work at all. I am trying to return this system as soon as possible.
