Strengths: Fonts are good size and readable. Quick and reliable Bluetooth connectivity. Helpful reality view. Fast route/rerouting calculation. Build very solid.

Weaknesses: Screen fades out under bright sunlight. Inadequate POI function. Week FM transmitter.

Summary: This is the second GPS I bought. The first one was a Magellan 4250 that I bought for my wife. There are great differences within two devices. Tomtom 730 employs lots of functionalities those are good for people who are electronically inclined. The mount is designed perfect. It is not bulky and can be mount in tight areas. Having a right angle battery adapter is another plus. I found only few weakness in tomtom those are; high price, lousy POI search and week FM transmitter for MP3 player thru car radio. Other than that, it is very reliable device. By the way, mfg needs to design smaller (may built in) TMS antenna. I would recommend this device to a friend.
