Strengths: small size, powering through mount, fast, unlockable

Weaknesses: navigation software, LCD and sound quality, battery life

Summary: It was the cheapest GPS (after rebate) in Fry's, so I could not resist. The build quality is decent, but I wish the LCD could be better. The colors are washed out, not so sharp and crisp as major brands. It even could not compete with other low-end devices like Amcor or Jensen. The body is made of good plastic, and already survived a several drops. The small size is good to fit into your pocket (I never leave GPS in car). You may use it as MP3 o video player, but considering the LCD quality and low battery life is not a wise choice. As navigation unit it does not work well. The software which came with unit is the worst (comparing to current generation of portable GPS devices). The maps are not up to date, and it?s not clear about future updates. This unit is OK for occasional usage, but not for everyday commuting.
