Strengths: Scroll Map Support, Point Map to Go

Weaknesses: POI is not good.Does have map errors, which exists on ANY GPS;

Summary: (1)This GPS has exclusive feature of Drag and Scroll map; Like PC feel;(2)Point to any place on map and click to go, no need of manual input;(3)Suport Drive Direction, North Map Direction and Plane View (Global View). Best help to understand where is the current location you are.(4)Multi-Trip planner , add via to no limits;Those features do not exist at any other GPS on the current market, they are the most extinguish design for GPS.Based on above I do not like any other GPS now, I upgrade to same MIO line MIO DigiWalker 720T which has exact the same Navigation features. VERY HAPPY for this investment.

Strengths: Compact size. Good battery life. Great mount. Fast route calculation/recalculation. Beautiful screen for map and video.

Weaknesses: Does not have Canada map.

Summary: This is my first GPS and it takes some time to get used to. Once familiar, it has become a great companion for any trips, short or long. In addition to the strengths above, this device is hackable, i.e., it can be turned into a PDA and personal video/picture/music player besides the excellent GPS functionality. As a video player, it plays all format I can think of and the quality is excellent on its 320x240 screen. Well worth it for under $150.

Strengths: SmallInexpensiveAccurate

Weaknesses: Names of StreetsMenu Navagation

Summary: Lets cover the positives. This is a very small Navigator and does not take up a lot of space on your dash board. It is also very affordable with it clocking in less then $150.00!! I also found it very accurate as it said turn right at the precise location. Now lets cover the negatives. I noticed that it does not say the names of the streets. It just says turn left at next street or something like that. It would be nice if it said turn left at Woodberry Avenue. I also found that navigating through the menus on the unit was a little confusing, but perhaps it just takes some time to get used to it. Overall, I think this is a great unit for the money and you really can't go wrong. Especially if you are on a budget and don't want to break the bank.

Strengths: Easy to use, nice features, Displays the next turn in writing that is easy to see, Has SD slot and real good POI database

Weaknesses: Volume a little low, Not too bad though as some others make it out. Fine if windows are not all the way down.

Summary: This works very well. The display is bright enough, maybe not in direct sunlight , but neither are many other units. Very accurate directions, easy to use and has millions of POIs. There is no next to speech for street names, but really do not need them. I like that it displays boldly the name of the next street you will be taking. This way you can verify. The positioning is good, and Mios Service is good. I called them right after Christmas during a busy period and they answered my question right away. The winshield mount is very nice and sturdy. I recomend this foe a entry level unit. UPDATE, Some people complain about the volume being kind of low. I found a trick--Change the voice to UK, his voice is much louder, hey, nothing wrong with kings english, still reports in miles and yards.

Strengths: Compact, easy to setup, short waiting time for signal search, quick rerouting and less expensive;

Weaknesses: Missing POIs; smaller screen

Summary: I paid $100 for a brand new unit. This GPS is very small and easy to carry. The setup is easy with preloaded map on a SD card. I had a Navman Pin100 but takes 1-2 minutes to pick up the signal. Mio C220 only takes 0.5 minutes to get it work. I you drive using different route, the unit will recalculate the route in seconds. The POIs were not updated but it?s only for reference. I wish the screen will be a little large (4.3?). Over all it?s a good unit for the money.

Strengths: low cost and signals are great.

Weaknesses: low volume and low screen brightness.

Summary: I purchased this unit from pepboys on back Friday sale. After rebate and gift coupon the price would be $70.I extremely happy about the performance. I bought this for birthday present to my brother. However, I decided to keep this with me and gift him tom tom 3rd edition.Excellent maps and recalculation is fast and seems to pick up good satellite signals. Definitely recommend product for this price.

Strengths: Never get lost again.

Weaknesses: None

Summary: I bought the Mio C220 on Black Friday in an area I didn't know too well. I got out of the store and proceeded to drive home. I was lost. I decided to open up my C220 and plug it into my car. I turned the C220 on and quickly I inputted all the proper info. The Mio started to give me directions and soon after I noticed I was home. Thanks to Mio I will never get lost again. I recommend this product to anyone who gets lost a lot like me.

Strengths: SiRFstarIII, Simple, intuitive navigationQuick Route CalculationSpeed Limits

Weaknesses: No Text-To-Speech

Summary: Comparing to other products, it doesn't have the text-to-speech features. However, I got this unit for $99 on Black Friday. So it's a steal at this price. I like the interface, it's pretty intuitive and contains a lot of features.

Strengths: Fast route recalculation, compact and easy to move around, ability to add POIs.

Weaknesses: Not very intuitive, and the route may not be most optimal.

Summary: I bought it on after Thanksgiving sale, and my first impression is that the unit is not very intuitive. It takes me a while to learn the basic navigation between screens. Hopefully it will get better after I read through their manuals. Used it on the next day to a friend's house, the route it calculated initially was not the best, but the route recalculation is very impressive. Overall I think you got what you paid for.

Strengths: Its a handheld portable GPS that rocks

Weaknesses: Doesn't say street names by voice unlike newer models

Summary: The Mio C220 DigiWalker is a portable GPS for on foot or in the car. Its a handy device in getting to any location in the US (haven't tried other countries). It has lots of options and its affordable. The only main issue I had with this Mio is that it doesn't say the street names by voice. Slight flaw easily overcome by great design and functionality. I give the Mio C220 5 stars.

Strengths: small, bright high resolution screen, internal lithium battery, all US on one card, can show number addresses on map, easy to use, reliable, cheap, loaded with features

Weaknesses: no female English voice, voice not very loud, battery only lasts about 2 hours if not connected to power, no major problems.

Summary: I have used many GPSs and the MIO 220 (priced $150 to $199) is the best value PERIOD. It does just about everything that ones costing double its price do. The screen is high quality unlike many cheap GPSs. It is so small that you can put it in your pocket. Touch screen makes programming easy. Processor is fast, you can drag maps with your finger with almost no lag. Has tons of features that are not apparent unless you read the manual, but you can use it right out of the box without reading a manual if you are not inclined to learn its intricacies. Buy one, you wont regret it. It works well, is cheap and sure can help out in a strange place. Maps are up to date in my area.

Strengths: Light, easy to use, like the graphics

Weaknesses: Unit freezes and Customer Service has a real problem answering questions.

Summary: Used the unit around town with success. Sometimes a little slow picking up the satellites; can take 15 minutes when first powered up. First opportunity to really use it on the road last weekend to FL. Worked well; new city and very unfamiliar with landmarks. Unit got me to and from destinations. No complaints there. Trip back to home, 450 miles, unit froze three times and had to restart. Called Customer NoService. Fast talking Non American Rep. who didn't hear or really ignored my questions about the unit freezing. First it took 20 mins. to get a Rep. on the phone and then placed on hold for 15 min. and he hung up on me. Called back and was hung up on again. Never got an answer and I'm 3 days outside of the 30 day return policy. Would Not Buy again.

Strengths: Small, Low cost, mobile, can be used when walking

Weaknesses: Tech support, no updates, No Canada maps

Summary: I've been using the Mio C220 a lot when traveling for business - it is small, compact and mobile. Accurate in most places, but is missing some new roads and misleading in constructions areas or open parking lots. Tech support is slow to respond, new streets and map errors have to be reported to the mapping company. Overall I was satisfied until the Mio was stolen from my car in a college parking lot.
