Strengths: Compact, awesome sliding mechanism, easy to use, highly customizable, firmware can be modified.
Weaknesses: photo quality does not stand up to Nokia or Sony 5mp camera's, shuttle lag, bluetooth connection affected by sliding customization, display suffers under sun light, and no voice dial.
Summary: This is probably the cheapest 5mp camera-phone that one can have. Here are its strength:1. slim and compact. It is heavy than it appears. The built quality is top notch, as is the material used. The sliding motion and mechanism is best in the world.2. The display looks nice due to its size and 16 million colors. The dynamic background is refreshing. And what appears to be glass that protect the LCD screen is really scratch resistant.3. The phone, being an non-OS phone, is easy to use. 4. And for about $35 (flash cable) and some research and time, one can modify the phone to better suit your needs. Especially the language support/display.Now, the not so good.1. For a 5mp camera phone, it can not hold its water against Nokia nor Sony-Ericsson. The images are not as clear and shuttle speed is too slow.2. My bluetooth headsets kept getting connected and then disconnected by the phone. I finally figured out that by setting the sliding down to close applications, it also closes bluetooth. It is not supposed to. Oh well.3. The display is nice and bright. But does poorly under sun light. Can not see anything.4. the battery is puny. Under heavy use, got to charge it daily. Would be nice to make it more powerful.5. No voice command/dial. Would have been nice to have it.Then again, one can get it for about 4/7 price of a Nokia N82 and 5/7 of a Sony-Ericsson K850i. So you get what you pay for.
