Strengths: Small size, doesn't look like a Borg appendage, light weight, no uncomfortable earhook, decent battery life
Weaknesses: Bluetooth still sounds crappy, small size means easy to lose, sometimes falls out of ear unexpectedly, stupidly easy to accidentally redial numbers
Summary: This was an upgrade from a WEP200. I immediately hated the fact that the all-too-easily pushed button on the WEP500 did not default to the voice prompt menu, like the WEP200; instead it will redial the last number called. Simply removing the WEP500 from your ear can easily result in an accidental push of that button, and a slightly embarrassing unintended call. Putting it in your shirt pocked with it still turned on can result in repeated accidental calls. (To get to the voice command menu with the WEP500, you have to hold the button down until you hear a single tone). And although the in-canal earpiece is acceptably comfortable, it can gradually ease itself out, suddenly dropping to the floor.

Strengths: Size, battery
Weaknesses: Sound quality with any background noise
Summary: I bought this to comply with the new law in California requiring that cell phone calls be made handsfree. I suppose it is sufficient for that purpose, as long as the air conditioning or vent is turned off. But I also tried using it while walking down the street in San Francisco, and it was completely unusable. The person on the other end couldn't hear anything except wind noise.

Strengths: Tiny size; light weight; effective noise cancelling with two microphones.
Weaknesses: Fall off easily; only 3.5 hrs of talk time per full charge.
Summary: Samsung WEP500 is impressive with its noise-reduction and echo-cancellation technologies. Its automatic volume control adjusts the volume to make up for changes in background noise to improve call quality. I also like its tiny size and very light weight. However, it falls off easily from your ear without the optional thin loop hanger over your ear. Since the headset is almost round shape, its charger cradle/case is somewhat cumbersome for a portable device. It will take sometime to get used to the button placement at the top which may cause many accidental calls for just adjusting the headset. In general, this could be one of the best bluetooth headset on the market as of this review for its sound quality and minuscule size.

Strengths: Small size, great look, cool headset cradle, sound and reception are very good, included ear hook and many earpieces for different size ear
Weaknesses: Bad placement for the multi-functional button, no auto-answer feature, disappointing battery time
Summary: Most of the bluetooth headset are pretty big, so having a small bluetooth headset like the WEP-500 is pretty unique. It included an optional earhook for use if the headset doesn't secure properly on the ear. Sound and reception is top notch for me. People on the other end can hear my voice clearly despite the small size. One thing I don't like is the multi-functional button. They should have made the button in the middle of the ear piece instead of the top. You can accidentally press the button if you're trying to adjust the earpiece, and it's extremely inconvenient when you want to press the button. The lack of an auto-answer feature is disappointment because not all cellphone have the feature. The battery time is pretty short, but it's manageable. It's a good piece of headset, and they recently offered a 30.00 rebate. All in all, worth every penny.

Strengths: Small size, good looks and light weight
Weaknesses: Battery life, multifunction button.
Summary: Sound quality on the receiving end is fine and clear, and the sound on the other end of the line is OK though hollow at times. Main complaint is the multifunction button; when turning off unit often activated redial last number function. Also button is very sensitive and easy to activate when trying to reposition unit while in ear. Good price with rebate.

Strengths: small
Weaknesses: people could not hear what i was saying
Summary: I tried this unit for a month. i finally got tired of people saying, "I can barely hear what you are saying". Trust me, it's useless. DO NOT BUY. I literaly smashed it to pieces out on my driveway 10 minutes ago, and ran upstairs to write this review. That's how disappointed I was with this product.

Strengths: Compact, light weight, noise reduction, dual microphones, no echos. Looks great as well.
Weaknesses: Location of the function button. Also short battery life.
Summary: For the size, weight and price. Well worth it. Its pretty cool and it is quite comfortable compared to others. Call quality I thought was excellent and so far no real complaints. The function button is somewhat of a pain because when I want to insert the device further in my ear I accidentally hit the function button and calls are placed. Difficult to make adjustments. Like all things in life you learn to cope. For the price it is worth it.

Strengths: SMALL size, ease of use
Weaknesses: None found yet
Summary: Great value, especially if you can get it for around $20 after rebates, etc. Very lightweight, it connected to my Motorola phone in no time. It comes with a little carrying case that doubles as a charging cradle. I would definitely buy it again, if given the chance.

Strengths: Light weight. Small and comfortable.
Weaknesses: Battery life is a little bit short.
Summary: After several weeks of using this Samsung WEP500 bluetooth headset, I'm very satisfied with it. It's small and light. I feel good even wearing it all day. It also comes with a case. You can put it in the case when you don't use it. The sound quality is clear and I love its noise-canceling design. The only drawback is that its battery life is a little bit short due to its tiny size.

Strengths: Small, comfortable, great price after rebate
Weaknesses: Sound quality, charger design, placement of multifunction button, silver bling earring look
Summary: I also own Nokia and Sony Bluetooth headsets, but the AR price and size of this unit caught my attention. The Samsung is not as good as my others. I don't want a headset to say "Hey, look at me - I have a Bluetooth". It is small and relatively unobtrusive although it would look less like a giant earring if the shiny silver part was just black. The earpiece sound quality is very disappointing - crackles and a muffled, unclear sound compared to my other headsets. The microphone quality is good as reported by those I call. Being required to put the headset in its storage case just to recharge is a nuisance. I now have to drag around a charger AND the storage case just to keep this charged - dumb design. Since this just sits comfortably, but not securely, in your ear, I find myself reseating it in my ear during a conversation. The placement of the multifunction button results in an instant hangup when I do that. I won't be using this headset much and it's just not worth returning. I'll be sticking with the Nokia and Sony!

Strengths: Small, clear sound, comfortable to wear
Weaknesses: Call button is not ideally placed
Summary: My first bluetooth phone and I really liked it. It's small and compact. Comes with a carrying case for protection. Comfortable to put on and wear. Sound quality is good. The call button is on top so it's very easy to accidentally push it and call someone. Since it's already small, it's very easy to push that button when you first put it on. The battery is decent for its size. It's a good headset for my HTC Shadow.

Strengths: Small and lightweight; multiple earpiece adapters to ensure proper fit; convenient charge cradle
Weaknesses: Poor call quality; poor placement of multifunction button; not all that attractive
Summary: So far I have been relatively disappointed with the WEP-500. Call quality has been mediocre at best and it often sounds hollow or crackily. This has by far been the biggest weakness of the set. Other gripe: the placement of the multifunction button is very poor and when I try to adjust the headset for proper fit, I always push the button which immediately dials the last person I called. Finally, I was the silver color would be matte or brushed, but its actually a very reflective chrome color. On the positive side, I can say that it is small and lightweight. I also like the charge cradle because otherwise I would lose the little earpiece. All in all, I got a great deal on it so I can't complain too much. But I wish I would have bought the Jawbone.

Strengths: Small size; good sound; noise cancellation technology; fits snug in the ear
Weaknesses: Battery life not as long as some others; multi function button doesn't always do what you want it to; must use case to charge it
Summary: I bought the Samsung WEP 500 to replace an older and larger Motorola model. I was always getting complaints that people could hear themselves echo when talking to me on the Motorola bluetooth. This Samsung model is super small and has a noise cancelling feature that eliminates the echo. Sound quality is good. I like the snug, in-ear fit, but others may find it troublesome. This headset is the perfect replacement I was looking for. If you want a good quality, small bluetooth headset, this is the one for you. Plus, there's currently a $30 mail-in rebate. Can't beat that.

Strengths: Charger is well designed, aesthetically.
Weaknesses: Product was DOA on arrival and came with no instructions whatsoever. The charger didn't work.
Summary: Since I own a Samsung Blackjack phone I was interested in using a Samsung branded Bluetooth headset with it. I purchased this unit from an online seller and received the unit in a plastic bag without any instructions whatsoever. The unit appeared to be DOA and did not charge when placed in the charger and connected to the included AC adapter. I am disappointed in the quality control and user experience. I've gone with another solution.

Strengths: Very small light, noise reduction, echo cancellation, 2 microphones, several earbud sizes
Weaknesses: Short battery life, bad placement of multifunction button, requires case to charge
Summary: This is a very small Bluetooth headset that is very light as well. It is pretty inconspicuous when worn and is also quite comfortable due to the different earbud adapters that are included. Call quality was good thanks to noise reduction and echo cancellation. Pairing with a cell phone was quick and painless as well. However, due to the small size, battery life is less than the quoted 3 hours (which is already pretty low). Also, the multifunction button's placement could be improved because the current position makes you accidentally press it each time you adjust the headset in your ear.
