Summary: I'm upgrading from a d-link wired router, so far this router has very solid performance. Setup is fairly easy with the supplied CD. It works with my toshiba 108M wireless card at full 108M speed. The range is very good also, there's no significant signal loss even thru the wall. There's a hardware built-in router/AP switch, if you switch to AP mode, the router disables NAT and DHCP automatically. Also there's WDS option - Wireless Distribution System, which can work with other WDS enabled router/AP to extend the range. The AOSS seems very interesting feature, but I don't have a compilent device to try it out. For advanced control, I logged in the web interface, but find dislike the GUI, a bit unintuitive as my previous d-link one. Overall, this is a very good performance router. Definitely worth the money I paid for it.

Strengths: DD-WRT Flashable unlocking awesome features. "Easy setup with Nintendo DS."

Weaknesses: Antenna is permanent and can't be upgraded to a better one. Wish it had a vertical stand. Feels cheap and breakable. Antenna only swivels 180 degrees instead of the usual 360 degrees.

Summary: Comes with a cool "flat" wire CAT5 cable. Didn't bother with firmware it came with because I'm so used to DD-WRT (using with WRT54G). I got it on sale and it's worth what I paid. Would recommend this to anyone if they can pick it up on sale. DD-WRT makes any router into a great one and this one is no exception. Antenna feels like it'll break with the slightest pressure.

Summary: This is a great router. It has great signal strength, pretty easy setup and seems to provide a strong reliable signal throughout my two story house. It also doesn't drop anymore compared to my other router which had to be reset everyday. Great product, and would recommend this to all my friends.

Summary: Amazing router. Didn't really test stock firmware as I immediately flashed it to DD-WRT (be sure to follow steps exactly). I've had no problems with this router. Only drawback is that this does not have a changeable antenna and this antenna is a low gain one. I got it for $36 and I thought that was a good price for it.

Weaknesses: - "Cheaper" construction

Summary: This router has been rock solid since being installed. Has not needed any reboots and signal strength has been great. DD-WRT compatibility has been another bonus. The router's construction is not great and seems to have regressed from prior Buffalo models. Antenna is not removable and plastic seems very thin. That said, the router is stashed away in the office and hardly touched so build construction is not that important.

Strengths: You can use the DD-WRT firmware, Fast Speeds, Long Ranges, Cheap

Weaknesses: Nothing

Summary: When you install the DD-WRT firmware, it adds features that you would normally find in only $600 routers. You can use it as a repeater, it has QoS, and you can even change the output energy so that you can use this router at an farther distance. I got it at a great price and performance has been superb. I highly recommend this.

Summary: This is one of the best budget routers available in market. It supports open source firmwares. It is pretty stable and the signal strength is good too.If you are in the market for a cheap and reliable router, this product is for you. Wait for circuitcity sale for this happening every month.

Summary: I have been using Buffalo HBR2-G54 for a long time. Before WBR2-G54, I had used linksys, netgear, and several other off brand routers. The stability of signal is my first concern and buffalo is the only brand that has given me strong, stable signal so far. When I saw Buffalo WHR-G125 on sale, I immediately make the upgrade. Beside the signal stability and strength, I also like the completeness of the functions in the web based controls of the router,it provided every possible function and security I would ever need.

Strengths: The Wireless G is quick out of the box with the AOSS push button operation. However, connection to wireless networks is not a breeze.

Weaknesses: Not easy to set up!

Summary: I chose this product because of price. It was on a shelf away from the Lynksys, D-Link, and NetGear products- almost like Circuit City was trying to hide it, so I felt sorry for the thing and thought I would give the brand a try. I wish I would have left it at the store... but I still like the little thing. Once I got it set up and going, the wireless router has worked like a charm, but the set up is not as easy as the box describes.

Strengths: - Great signal strength- Looks sleek and high-tech- Cheap price tag- Easy set-up (for the most part)

Weaknesses: - Included cables are very short and don't allow much distance from desktop system- Network set-up could be difficult for some- No written instructions

Summary: This is a great little wireless router! I was in the market for a cheap, reliable router having just purchased a new laptop. It looks really cool and high tech, which impresses the ladies of course. I was a little annoyed that the included ethernet cable was pretty short. It was almost too short to place at a nice, high level above my desktop system (on the ground). I also had a few problems when setting up the wireless network myself. There really aren't any written instructions either. That usually wouldn't be a problem, but if your internet is down because you're installing a new router, it could be quite frustrating. Otherwise I really recommend this product. Buffalo knows how to make a good router! Cheers.

Summary: Bought this router to upgrade existing Netgear. Worked nicely out of the box. I've WPA2 enabled and setting it up was a breeze. A day later I flashed it with DD-WRT open source firmware. Good thing about DD-WRT firmware is it brings a whole lot of features. But, at present there is no way to restore it to original firmware. Overall a good bargain for $39.99 and one of the cheapest router that can be flashed with DD-WRT firmware.

Summary: This is a great router. It has great range for wireless devices. The signature Buffalo AOSS feature works flawlessly with AOSS compatible devices like the Nintendo DS/DSLite and Sony PSP. Press the AOSS button on the router and select AOSS on the DS or PSP and your wireless connection is done and secured. Can't get any easier than that! This router can also use 3rd party firmware (DD-WRT) for those who seek more functionality. All in all, this is one of the most bang for the buck routers on the market right now. Get one and you won't regret.

Summary: WHR-G125 comes with a much faster CPU (240 Mhz) as well as with a new better performing Wifi Chipset. In my opinion this router was showing a significantly better receiving sensitivity than comparable older broadcom based routers like the Linksys WRT54G. WRT 54G used to be a great router for me(V1-V4). Now I think it's time for me to go for Buffalo.
