Strengths: Above Average Speeds, Upgraded Fan
Weaknesses: Power Consumption, Noise
Summary: I bought this card as an upgrade to my Nvidia 7600GT. The first program I tested this card with was Flight Simulator X. I really didn't notice a significant improvement. After doing some research, it turns out FSX is an oddball game when it comes to video cards. So I ran tests on other games that I have played and I immediately noticed the difference in speeds from the 7600GT. I've read that this card can run hot a lot of the times so the upgraded fan is a bonus even if it's a little bulky. The video card requires it's own power supply connection so make sure you have a PSU that can handle it. The noise is a little louder than most video cards, but it's not extremely loud. This is a pretty good investment if you're looking for a card on a budget. You really get your moneys worth.

Strengths: -High performance/price value-better cooling solution than reference
Weaknesses: -still runs a little hot-doesn't tie your shoes
Summary: Beast of a card for it's price! Pretty much maxes all modern games besides the almighty Crysis. But I still get a little over 40 fps average running at high 1400x900 res. Equipped with a much better fan (dual slot) than other 4850's higher than its price and runs much cooler. Runs 52C idle. Here are some statistics regarding temperature. Also, i set the fan speed to 60% when playing games.Sins of a Solar Empire (highest settings): 55COblivion (Highest settings): 65CCrysis (High setting): up to 80C max :(Still runs a little hot, but a blessing compared to the other 4850's. Just make sure you have excellent airflow in your case. After playing Crysis for awhile, it started to heat up and I started to smell something funky. I'm going to buy another case fan. Also, had trouble getting it to fit, just barely had enough room for it in my motherboard. Also, I see a few complaining about the noise it makes. Well, maybe its just my computer but I can't hear a thing, barely noticeable at 70% fan speed!
