Strengths: Great price, amazing graphic quality, quiet cooler fan.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: A price for a Gefore 8800 GT 512MB video card at $119 is hot! This card was purchased to replace my XFX GeForce 8800 GT 256MB Video Card I purchased not long time ago (due to price difference). The game COD4 and Crysis can be played with high setting because of the large memory and nice CPU on the card. ASUS provides up to date software just to make sure the user can utilize the latest feature of the card properly.

Strengths: Quiet, not very power demanding and performed like a champ.
Weaknesses: Very big
Summary: I purchased this card because I want an upgrade for my old Radeon x300se that came with my Dimension 8400. I was a little bit worried if the 350watt power supply could handle an 8800gt along with fours HDD; two raid 0 WD 74gb raptors hdd and two additional drives for storage. But since it's been rumored that Dell underrates their power supply, I decided to take the chance. Installing the hardware was easy, just simply replaced the old card with new card. Because of the size of the card (including heatsink/fan) it took up one extra pci slot. Everything booted up without any problems until I tried to run a game; my direct3d is not working. I assume having an ati driver previously installed had some conflicts with the nvidia drivers (yes, I did uninstalled the ati drivers first). Since it's been 4 years since my last OS reinstall, I decided to reinstall the OS. That fixed Direct3D, 8800gt running smooth and no problems at all. Graphics looks a lot sharper and I can finally play HD videos w/o the annoying lag/skips that my old card was giving me. I would definitely recommend this card if you need a good performance card at an moderately affordable price.

Strengths: The best price/performance ratio you can buy, performs about the same as an 8800GTX, reasonably quiet cooler, free Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, reputable manufacturer
Weaknesses: Is not totally silent as you might be led to believe, and has only a two-pin fan connector - meaning fan speed is non-adjustable
Summary: (Note that I purchased the Glaciator version)Even right before the launch of Nvidia and ATI's new video cards, an 8800GT is still a great buy at $127 after rebate. It's basically the same core as an 8800GTX, and, overclocked enough, it's basically the same card. Performance is outstanding, even coming from my 8800GTS 320MB - which I sold for about $115. An awesome upgrade for about $15.The Glaciator HSF isn't bad. No, it's not silent, but it's not bothersome in any way, even during heavy gaming. I can't compare it to any stock HSFs, since I haven't had any other 8800GTs.The included copy of CoH: OF is great; I've been wanting to get it for a while now, even though it isn't worth very much anymore. I loved the original CoH, so this is a great addition to the package.I've read other complaints about the ASUS software, but I myself have not tried it out yet. I've felt no need to overclock so far.

Strengths: Nice graphics for the price, Power, cost.
Weaknesses: None at the moment.
Summary: This graphics card was purchased to replace my aging 6800SLI setup and boy am i impressed. For the cost this card benchmarks very competitively with higher priced cards. I can run games like COD4 and Crysis at pretty high settings. So far i would not look at other cards in this price range given the cost and performance. Heck it even comes with a free game.

Strengths: Power and cost
Weaknesses: Everyone is charging a premium for it now
Summary: I purchased this card at NewEgg because it was the only place that had it at the time. Retail is $199 but I paid just about $280 shipped and it came with COH OF, a $50 value ? not so free. This replaced my 7800GTX and the difference was phenomenal. It doubled my performance, gave me PCIe 2.0 and is DX10 capable for the next major upgrade. I certainly will SLI or even Triple with the new 780i at this price. I have the system water cooled now using the Maze 4 GPU block and overclocked to 700core/2000mem/1700shader running stable at 38degrees idle and 45degrees load.

Strengths: Great Straight out of the Box!!
Weaknesses: None for this design.
Summary: I bought this card to replace my Gigabyte 8800 GTS 320MB DDR3 NX88 series which was doing the job of running Crysis with aa mix of settings on medium and low. This card did not disappoint me although it was pricy. I can now play COD4 and Crysis with all settings on high (if want) i leave them all on medium for faster playing and not one rip or tear during the games after settings and the clearaty is really an improvement with details i didnt see before. I\\\\'m glad I got the ASUS EN8800GT. The difference is amazing. Also the ASUS software was up to date! really wouldnt matter but was nice for a change due to how fast the driver change. Thanks ASUS for A GREAT CARD ILL BE BACK!!!
