Strengths: Have had this chip up over 2.8 ghz on air!
Weaknesses: not a quad?
Summary: I have had this chip for a year now running seti 24/7 at 2.6 ghz and it just keeps purring along. Came back to Mwave for a new quad chip.

Strengths: Everyday tasks seem faster and running multiple programs is more responsive. Video editing gets done in about a third of the time of my old processor (P4 Northwood 2.4GHz)
Weaknesses: Can tend to get a little hot when overclocked but that is to be expected.
Summary: Bought this chip to replace an aging P4 2.4 (OC to 3.0) and it has been worth it. I can OC this puppy to 3.2GHz to get a 1:1 ratio with my memory and it just flies. Very happy that I upgraded. I would recommend that anyone who does a lot of tasks at once, to get a multi-core CPU. Highly recommended.

Strengths: Fast processor with 4MB cache, Great for overclocking, Price
Weaknesses: None
Summary: You cant beat the price of the E6420 since it is the same amount as the E6400 with 2MB of less cache. The processor is great for overclocking and the extra cache really helps out for processor intensive applications.

Strengths: Was able to OC at a stable 3.3 GHz using liquid cooling.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: Great buy, specially now with price drops! Processor is OC'ed to 3.3 GHz stable using thermaltake liquid cooling. Temp is at a stable 45C under full load and 39C idle. No problems as of yet, and great benchmark numbers.

Strengths: Very fast, runs cool, dual core.
Weaknesses: None with the processor so far.
Summary: Keep an eye out for newer Intel processors that could very likely be near the same price as this one is. Intel is pushing the CPUs out fast, and cutting prices, so make sure to do the research before buying for the best value.

Strengths: Fast, dual core, low heat, great overclocking
Weaknesses: Price
Summary: If you can afford it, get the E6600 cpu.But if you have a great motherboard and want to save some $$$, get this CPU and it will run as fast or faster than the E6600 for $50 less.

Strengths: Ultra fast, low power consumption, 64bit, Dual-core for multiple tasks
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This dual-core processor has larger cache size (4MB total), good for computing and multiple task applications. Great for building an excellent game machine. The boxed processor comes with an Intel heat sink fan. The chip generates less heat (only 65W?). Housed in an Antec Sonata II (450W PS) Mid-tower case and the whole system is running very quietly.

Strengths: 4MB L2 cache, Conroe stepping, 8 multiplier, overclockable, price
Weaknesses: HSF and fan, HSF connection
Summary: The e6420 will OC around 3.2-3.6GHz and is cheaper than the e6600. The 6420 uses the more reliable B2 Conroe stepping. I would research a better HSF/fan before installing motherboard. Installation is much easier before MB is screwed down. This would be an easy first OC.

Strengths: Overclockability, very reasonable price, 4mb cache, great multitasking, just all around fast processor
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Considering I got this processor up to 3ghz on my very first overclock attempt with a so-so heatsink (i'm sure I can go further and I will), I'm already a satisfied customer. Gave me exactly the boost in games that I wanted and took the bottleneck off my 8800gtx that my old AMD FX-55 presented. Make no mistake, you're getting a whole lot of processor for a very little amount of money. I'm sitting at 3ghz and getting performance that's = Intel's x6800 processors at a fraction of the cost! Can't really beat that value.

Strengths: Speed and 4MB Cache
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Intel is killing AMD by speed and price. I noticed huge speed increase when I open adobe Illustrator CS2 with this baby. I'm a big supporter of AMD but this CPU is speeding up my frequently used programs. I do not miss my AMD X2 3800 at all. It is a great buy from Mwave!

Strengths: Two independent cores, very overclockable, fastest processor I've ever used
Weaknesses: None so far (only been using it for about a week)
Summary: Upgraded to the E6420 from Pentium 4 640 3ghz HyperThreading processor. The dual core feature is a whole different story. Applications run noticeably quicker, and the 4mb L2 cache doesn't hurt either. The E6420 also runs quite a bit cooler than the 640, but then again the 600 series hyperthreading processors were known for heat issues. The E6420 will not disappoint, whether you are a normal user or overclocker.

Strengths: Multitasking
Weaknesses: Factory fan
Summary: Excellent for serious multitasking. I can play a 3D game while running multiple downloads with a browser open without performance degradation. However, any speed improvements are insignificant if you run plain vanilla applications (Word, Excel) most of the time. Factory fan and heatsink are mediocre; I recommend replacing them with other fan/heatsink combos for better cooling.

Strengths: good overclock capability and stable working condition
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: It is very good processor for overclocking. I also have a computer which I built with AMD X2 5400. The latter is so limited to it overclocking, only 0.3Ghz done, however the former went to 3.09, almost 1 Ghz overclocking. In addition, it is very stable and quite. I like this processor a lot.

Strengths: Genuine Intel, retail version comes with good fan (if you're not overclocking), E6420 (and E6320) series has 4MB cache -- and can often be found for LESS than the older 2MB counterparts!
Weaknesses: None that I can think of - some OC sites estimate that the 64xx and 63xx can't be overclocked as much as a E4300 (relatively), but with a 2.13GHz, how far would you go anyway?
Summary: C2D prices continue to drop as quad-cores approach...Love the retail box, almost always worth the few extra $$ to get a good fan (should be more than sufficient for the super-efficient, very cool-running Core2Duo). If you decide to buy an OEM or non-retail version, be certain you get the same warranty coverage as retail -- 15 years of Intel I've never had to return one, but the price difference between RETAIL and OEM is usually "cheap insurance."

Strengths: Intel Dual Core 2.13GHz 4Mb Cache+3 Years Warranty For Good Price
Weaknesses: Don't Like the Fan included with CPU, took a while to understand how to install.
Summary: If you want good quality for a good price, it's the only one.The others are whether not as good as this one(previous products) or whether too expensive. And I never choose AMD because nothing is clear with AMD(speed, too many names to confuse new customers ...)I didn't fully checked yet but it's much faster than expected. My old computer always slows down compared to this one which keeps going smoothly for the same tasks.
