Strengths: The Core 2 Duo processor worth your every penny. It runs relatively cool with the stock heatsink+fan with the 65nm architecture. Relative low heat also make it a very good overclocker. 4MB of cache is a bonus.
Weaknesses: A low multiplier (7). Can't blame it on this processor since it's the lowest price of all the Conroe 4MB.
Summary: I got my E6320 to 2.8GHZ with stock voltage. Stable under Prime95 and other torture tests. I can feel the difference going from a single core 3.0 outdated netburst to C2D. Cut video encoding by 150%. Due to competition from AMD, Intel released a 45nm penryn core with 6MB cache and it's runs cooler and overclock like a beast. So this processor is outdated...

Summary: I have to admit. . . . I am an AMD convert. The reviews of AMD vs Intel have always been split down the line but not any more. I had to give in & get this proc for my gaming rig for the very best performance I could get considering my budget. The AMD Phenom would have been nice but I can't spend good money on a proc that won't perform as well as the Core 2 Duo. Its the numbers stupid!

Strengths: Good performance/price ratio, 4MB cache, good overclocker
Weaknesses: None foe this price range
Summary: I am building a good machine without breaking the bank. This CPU has very good performance/price ratio. Unless you must always stay at the edge of technology, this CPU is a good buy. Performance is very good. And it is very easy to overclock.

Strengths: Cheapest of the 4MB L2 Cache chips... good overclocker on stock setting (get good RAM) ... dual core obviously
Weaknesses: Now overshadowed by newer members of the "Conroe" family.
Summary: with the recent release of the 1333Mhz FSB chips, this proc isn't worth buying anymore. However, if you are like me, and already purchased a 1066 mobo, this is the way to go for you. Highly recommended as of a couple months ago, and still highly recommended if the situation dictates.

Strengths: Price, fast CPU, 4M Cache, 65W, excellent overclocker
Weaknesses: Maybe the limited 7x multiplier but still good
Summary: I bought this for my first Intel built, just to see what all the hype was about. It did not disappoint. It is the easiest 50 percent overclock I have ever done. Simply amazing. And I did not have to rob a bank to it.

Strengths: 4MB cache, seems to run faster than my P4 3Ghz Extreame and runs cooler. 1066MHz FSB, more cache than the E6300
Weaknesses: this is the low end 4MB cached chip,
Summary: I was fairly impressed with the speed. Hard to get over the 1.86GHz rating when I had a 3GHz P4 before. But this seems faster. I wish I could have benchmarked my old PC before I got rid of it, but like I said this one does seem faster. I'll probably buy the E6600 next time though, just because it?s faster. But this chip will be fine till then.

Strengths: Price + 4 MB cache
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: This CPU is currently in our meeting room HTPC. The previous HTPC Asus DigiMatrix pentium 4 2.4Ghz is usable after 5 minutes + boot up time. Now with this beast, it can handle everything and only 1 minutes is needed to be up and running. The second core is taking care of the symantec antivures background scanning. Great CPU.

Strengths: 1066mhz FSB2x2mb CacheOverclocks like crazy
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: Pay no attention to the clock speed (1.86ghz). Novices may see this and think this is slower than their 2.8 or 3.0mhz Pentiums. I will not get into a lengthy explanation, but rather I will just point out that clock speeds are not comparable across architectures. Core 2 Duo is where it's at right now.The E6320 is a real bargain. Unless you're doing some seriously extreme gaming or running very complicated apps on your PC, you absolutely will not notice the difference between this and the more expensive 6400 and 6600 Core 2s.

Strengths: Greatly overclockable
Weaknesses: none
Summary: The cheapest CPU with 4MB cache. Can run at 2.8Ghz without touching a thing except FSB setting. Currently runing at 3.0 Ghz with 1.425v for 1 month without shutting down once and it never crashed.

Strengths: Overclocked on stock cooler to 2.8ghz with some ddr2 800 fairly easily. First time I can say I've got a near top of the line CPU. Runs everything I've thrown at it just fine.
Weaknesses: 7x multiplier but enough to get past 3ghz with the way ddr2 prices keep dropping. Ran a little warm on stock cooler when oc'd.
Summary: PCMark05 went from 49xx to 61xx when overclocked - using IDE drive, 2GB ddr2 800 ram (not oc'd), DS3 rev3.3 and cheapo 7300GT pci-e card. First time ordering from mwave.com, couldn't be more pleased.

Strengths: fast CPU, 4M cache, only 65w without much heat.
Weaknesses: the built-in fan is still large and a little noisy.
Summary: overall it is a great product. the price drops a lot since last year. the speed is fast, and it does not generate much heat. The only weakness is that the built-in fan is a little noisy.

Strengths: Cheap, I got it in a Fry's combo w/ a mobo for 15X.xx. It works great. Temps are low, 36 idle saying my system temp is also 36. Fast enough for most of my applications.
Weaknesses: Difficult to OC due to low multiplier. Needs high end ram. I can't OC due to my ECS PT890 mobo.
Summary: It works like its suppose to. I haven't OC'ed it so I don't know the potential on this chip. Using stock heatsink and so far it works fine. Stock heatsink is not loud. It is definitely not the loudest thing in my computer (CD rom drive and HD, and GRaphics card cooler). It is easy to install.

Strengths: 4MB Cache

Summary: Awesome processor with power and overclockability. Compared to the E6300's 2 MB cache, this one has 4 MB cache on it. It's super fast compared to pentium4 HT. Get the performance for great value!
