Strengths: network enable, duplex printing, fast pace
Weaknesses: little big, heavy
Summary: bought this one with Canon MF3240. compared with MF3240, I really like the network enable feature. It makes the printing network really easy. Setup is not that hard as I think of. Duplex printing is a must for this price range printer. definitely would recommend it.

Strengths: Quick printer, quality printing (on plain paper), easy on the toner, quick setup, networkable (which I don't use), duplex printing
Weaknesses: smears UPS 2 label/page labels, doesn't alert to incoming fax, thinks there's something in the single sheet feeder when there's not
Summary: It's a huge improvement over my 10 y/o previous laser printer. Print speed is wonderful. Flat bed scanner works very well. Just a few things could have made this thing so much better:* When I'm not right next to the machine I have no idea a fax has come in. My last machine you could at least hear the modem handshake and a beep when completed. I can't seem to find any setting that will allow me to do that on this machine. * It smears my 2 label/page UPS labels. I don't think it likes the thickness of them. They aren't unusable, just a little messy.* It won't print a fax if a piece of paper is in the single sheet feed area...which is good, but it thinks there's something there when there's not once in a while. It just takes putting a piece of paper in and pulling it out and it clears the error, but it shouldn't do this.

Strengths: none
Weaknesses: can't use all the features of the product on a Mac
Summary: I really wanted this machine. Everything I read about it was great. Then amongst all the rave reviews from PC users I find one lonely Mac review after 2 hours of research. Mac users can't use all the features of the machine. Why is this magazine even selling something that a Mac user can't take advantage of. I came here hoping to find something that I could use with my computer and find that I have to do just as much research on what is offered here as any other retailer.
