Strengths: Probably one of the best printers for the price. Even the more expensive ones don't all come with media readers. Easy setup.

Weaknesses: Slow printing of text. LCD screen turns itself off too soon but no way of changing time frame. As you can tell, not too many weaknesses for a printer of this price level.

Summary: This is a great printer for the price. Many of the same features that the more expensive ones come with but at a value. If you are photo buff than this is not for you but for the casual user with a reasonable budget you have found your printer.

Summary: this is a very nice printer, with print,scan and copy function, I would say it is goog enough for your home or office daily use if you are not a big high tech fan. the picture quality is really amazing, the only thing I am concerning is about the ink, wish the ink could last long. Anyway, you can feel the convience once you get it, copy and scan function really make things easy. For such a low price item, I give my recommend, you will love it!

Summary: The printer was very easy to set up. The pirnting speed is excellent, however, it is not great scanner for photos. Like the LCD screen on it, although kind of small one. Overall good all-in-one.

Strengths: This printer has everything! The scanner, copy, and printing functions in one device is very convenient, and the MP470 does all of them very well. Preferences can be set right on the printer's screen.

Weaknesses: The device is a bit bigger than I expected, but is still reasonable. Also, the ink level seems to go down quickly.

Summary: Overall, the MP470 is a great value! The prints comes out very sharp and the software that comes with it is useful and intuitive. It is very easy to set up and install out of the box. I would recommend this printer!

Summary: I had *another brand* before this one, and it was such a pain. I was constantly trying to figure out what to do.This Canon installed easily and worked without a hitch from the get-go.I have printed, scanned, and copied - all with ease.The buttons are clear and simple.I haven't even used many of the features yet. (For example, you can print directly from your camera or from its memory card)It does a great job of making adjustments for you when you copy something. Of course, if it's not satisfactory, you can adjust it by hand.I like the look of this printer - classy.It's nice that Canon includes the printer cartridges.I did have a problem when I tried to print from my laptop, but it turned out that I didn't have the current driver. I went to Canon's website, dowloaded it, and all was well.

Summary: Very nice printer, I got this with my new canon powershot camera for a very low price (after rebate). For the price it is great. Nice small LCD display, so don't need to connect computer to copy or scan. Nice copy functionality, it has special modes such as book copy, that will only scan the book and not all the borders. The ink cartridges are a bit expensive, and i haven't found compatible cartridges. The printer itself is pretty bit (footprint)all in all very nice all in one printerwould definitely buy it again for this price.

Summary: The text and graphic printing is very nice and for the price is a great value. It prints nicely and produces nice scans. I've printed pictures on the free sample paper included with the printer and they look f I haven't yet tried to print on photo paper. All in all, lots of bang for the buck. It worked flawlessly right out of the box with all programs. The instructions are very thorough year. This printer is also pretty lightweight and a small footprint for what you get. The 2" LCD is easy to read and the media card slots are handy. The first thing I printed was a color photo from a file on regular paper, regular quality and it is sharp, yet the colors are beautiful and it was instantly dry! The second thing I printed was a scanned black and white photo on glossy Kodak photo paper and it looks like a professional photo I scanned! I was able to make wallets from a 5x7 and no one would ever detect that I did it from home. I did print some black text on regular paper and the quality is just about laser. I highly recommend this for anything that you print from home and people will think you had them professionally copied. It has excellent text output, good photo output and a useful scanner/copier. I prefer this printer which uses two cartridges (one black, the other tricolor) as opposed to 4,5, or 6+ ink printers. It may cost a little more but it's so much easier to keep track of spare cartridges you will inevitably have to keep on hand.The MP470 is a superb value at $80.

Summary: This printer is compact and esay to use. It also lets me print directly from memory cards and digital cameras. I can preview the images by using the color LCD display and the printing quality is good. It can also print out A4 size photos. I am quite satisfied with this printer.

Summary: I primarily use it as a scanner. The resolution is very high. The print quality is very good. Though the the printer is not good on ink life. But the good quality print explains the problem.The LCD screen is of very good quality. The card reader is also an added advantage. I can access the card reader directly from computer so I need not purchase additional card reader.
