Strengths: Easy install set up. Compact sleek - will fit most any location. LCD Menu nav is simple and thorough. SW pkg makes scanning, copying and printing all documents (including photos) a breeze.

Weaknesses: Packaging did not include USB 2.0 high speed cable. Paper must be positioned very accurately to preclude jams. Otherwise, I've found no other negatives thus far.

Summary: Purchased this product to replace a 5-year old HP - sorry I didn't do it sooner. Individual color ink tanks (vs. tri-color) - plus black - is a plus and much more cost-effective. The print quality - including photos - is superb; crystal clear definition of color variations shading. SW package provides is simple, easy to understand and use functionality for scanning printing.

Weaknesses: Cartridges seem expensive, but maybe just because I had to be 4

Summary: The design is slick with the flip up LCD with hidden buttons underneath. When the printer is closed is looks very clean. Had an old HP and this is definately an upgrade. The speed of the printer is pretty good without sacrificing quality. I printed out a couple pictures and they looked great. It also has a memory card reader so I can swap out the one with my digital camera, very cool!!For the price (I bought for $80 @ Newegg), this is a great buy!!

Strengths: Prints very fast quiet...At medium settings the colors look great and natural...!!!Ink lasts a long time...!!!

Weaknesses: Ink can be expensive and you have to look around for the best deal on cartridges.

Summary: I am really glad that I forced myself to change from Epson to this great Canon printer.I am very satisfied with quality, speed and overall color of this printer and would recommend it to everyone.
