Strengths: Battery life; brightness of the screen; flawless software; easy to use and navigate

Weaknesses: you can only put limited # of items on the start menu; no cell phone capability; no GPS navigation; can't figure out lock

Summary: Great phone but would be priceless if it could be used as cell phone as well. At first we had several issues: calendar and task did not launch, battery was dying on our own eyes and I really wanted to return/exchange it. I reset entire OS and it helped: the battery now last for days, all apps are launching OK. If I were to suggest, the only things missing are phone capabilities and GPS navigation. It does have bluetooth capability but I have no use for it. Would be nice if it had better customization: more items to add to start up menu, remove recently used items from the start up, etc. Also, I can't figure out how lock works and there is no hard-copy manual either

Strengths: Functionality, speed, Microsoft Office programs pre-loaded, Wi-Fi capability

Weaknesses: Occasionally need to reset to dump memory

Summary: I am a medical student that has loaded numerous medical programs onto this PDA for reference, and it performs very well. I am able to connect to Wi-Fi networks easily and access the Internet, as well as my email. Bluetooth syncing with my laptop is a breeze. The only problem I have with the iPAQ 110 is that sometimes if you're running too many programs at once, RAM is used up and some programs do not run correctly. After a quick reboot, functionality is restored. This unit is for people who don't need the phone features of a smartphone (and dont want to pay for the accompanying data plan!) but want a PDA to manage their schedule, contacts, Office documents, as well as anything else they choose to load onto it-- the expansion card slot allows for a great amount of storage space.
