Strengths: The Windows Experience Index for this laptop is 5.0, which is the highest possible so far. It is blazingly fast because of its 2.1 GHz Penryn processor with a 3 GB RAM and 512 MB of graphics memory.

Weaknesses: The integrated webcam is only 1.3 megapixels. One of the two 200 GB hard drives is 4200 RPM. I wish it had Vista Ultimate because it can easily handle Vista. Inconvenient location of fingerprint.

Summary: In short this Toshiba laptop is a mid-priced high end laptop with a lot of features like fingerprint reader, face recognition, 1 HDMI port, USB Sleep and Charge mode, LabelFlash capability, and many more. I definitely recommend this laptop because it gives a lot more (than other laptops) for less bucks.

Strengths: Well-loaded machine; works so much faster than my 4-year old Toshiba laptop. Sound quality and volume control much improved over my old machine. Couldn't hear anything then. Hooray for 4 USB ports.

Weaknesses: Delete key far away. Vista takes some getting used to. Fingerprint reader gets many unsuccessful tries. Typing keys are very flat and slippery, but good for me with long nails.

Summary: All in all, this seems like a great laptop. I hope it works as well as the last one - although that screen died and I had to use it with a monitor. As soon as I figure it all out, I'll be very happy.
