Strengths: Powerful. Vista Ultimate. DVD Player/Recorder supports many formats, and is backward compatible to many CD formats. Large screen excellent video quality.
Weaknesses: Toshiba does not supply full version installation disks, not even upon request. You can only use restore disks to put it in the state when you first received the unit. HD DVD format lost to Blu Ray.
Summary: Overall I still recommend this unit. I will use it for everything from games and various applications. My wife and I have even used it to watch some of our favorite shows over the internet.
