Strengths: Top of the line EVERYTHING! CPU, RAM, Hard Drive, webcam, HDMI

Weaknesses: Video is not the absolute best, but great for a a laptop that is basically everything you need in a desktop and more.

Summary: This laptop is a great system. Included with Vista Ultimate, you have everything you need to replace your desktop. Nicely designed system, webcam works great and has great image quality. Can hook this up to your HDTV via HDMI and use the remove to watch anything you choose. Makes this system SUPER flexible even as a media center PC. Super big hard drive, 4GB RAM, more than anyone can fill up. What more can you want? No regrets about this purchase.

Strengths: Design, 4gb ram, operating system +-, 250gb HD, easy of use, build in webcam, strong processor, bluetooth build in.

Weaknesses: HP customer support.Windows Vista 64bit... see comments below...

Summary: The notebook has a nice design though prone for fingerprints. (Minor issue, you can you a microfiber cloth, it even comes with one.) Plenty of ram memory 4GB ddr2 ram factory installed :o) (if you have a need for speed :o) than this is the way to go) I ran into several issues with the 64bit version of vista!!! Now this is certainly something to consider before buying this unit... as an example, I've tried to install Itunes (version 7.5) and a 64 bit system does not support it! (message in itunes was CD recording not found) if this happens to you, go to gearsoftware.com has some 64 bit drivers that take care of the problem. This is an issue I was able to resolve, but there are many more programs that simply do not work... I love to use window washer, and yes you guessed it, not supported in 64 bit. The need for a 64bit system has to do with the ram memory, a 32bit system only recognizes up to 3,5gb. Anyway, it is nice to have the webcam build in, and it works great! Same counts for a build in bluetooth :o) The processor is strong but for some reason it takes several minutes to start up. (I'm working on that, that is something I still might get resolved) HP customer support is a nightmare! What am I saying, a giant nightmare of satanic proportions!!!!! 5hrs on the phone with India, spoke to 13 people, and nothing resolved!!!!! I could write a book about there customer service, but than they are not the only company with poor service in the pc business... so use your own judgement. If you are comfortable fixing problems yourself, this unit will do miracles for you, if you need a lot of support, you may go kukoo from HP's tel. support!!! One thing I can say about this notebook pc is that it is very very quiet! I've owned several notebooks in my life, and this one is very silent!!! I like this very much! The touch buttons for volume control, and several other functions are a fun an convenient feature of this unit. the fingerprintreader maybe also, but I still have to get used to it. (I swipe my finger to slow/fast/not straight, etc... and than it takes longer than just typing your password) The build in card reader/writer is very nice, you can write your divx movies to an sd card, work your pictures, simply use it as a flash card, etc... The HP quickplay is something fun as well, the notebook even has a build in remote, in case you connect your unit with your tv.... (The notebook even has a HDMI out!!!) All in all I'm quite satisfied with the notebook, there are some things to consider, but so have other brands/models. If I had to make a choice today again, I would still go for the same notebook.
