Strengths: Packed with features and accessaries
Weaknesses: Pricy, does not support intel 45nm cpu as of today.
Summary: The intel 975x chipset on this board is a bit outdated now but I bought it for its stability and rich functionality. With manufacturer and vender rebate I got it at a great price. Believe it or not one can intall Mac OSX on a PC and this board has two features making this job a little easier. The on board SATA controller silicon image 3132 and network adapter Realtek 8111b both have Mac OSX drivers available from chipset manufacturer

Strengths: No nonsense motherboard, not much bling here, lots of sata connections, high quality capacitors, veeeery overclock happy
Weaknesses: SLI,at least officially, not supported and "sort of" tricky bios updates
Summary: AW9D-Max,E6600 overclocked to 2.9,2 gigs of (overclocked) OCZ Ram,XFX 8800 GTX,150 GB Raptor for OS only, and boy,is this baby flying,or what?Where to start? BIOS-Lots of user adjustable features (and yet,you can go with "safe" settings with couple of clicks),overclocking uGuru, option to overclock and update BIOS thru Windows, lots of connectors on very easy to reach spots, very nice documentation, included audio card (don't know is it good or not,I'm using latest Creative card),system temperatures including chipset are very good, with decent cooling. Cons?Well, bios updates can be tricky at the times (check abit support forum),doesn't support SLI,at least not oficially, but then again, with 8800GTX,who really needs 2 cards, right?Oh,yeah,if you're planning on building new pc,take cmos battery out while you build,it'll help later. To finish this review-After all,I don't regret at all,I went with this board. On contrary,I'm glad I bought this one.
