Strengths: DDR 2 and DDR3 support, Overclocking software is good.
Weaknesses: RAID is absolute trash (no internal RAID), Drivers dont work well (especially on board LAN) No SLI...
Summary: Bought this MB expecting to be on the cutting edge of tech. instead i found myself strugging to get it to work for a week, then finally returning it. This MB (as well as all other ASUS MB's i have bought) is no good. The memory thing is nice, and it supports quad core which is good. The RAID is useless, is only supports RAID from an internal drive to an external drive, pointless. The onboard LAN never did work, and the 'vista ready' drivers for it didnt work too well either for it. Never had more headache with a MB, i guess thats why i stick with AMD. Sent back my quad core as well as this MB and im done with asus and intel.

Strengths: Accepots DDR3 DDR2.
Weaknesses: Setting up a RAID configuration is not simple with this board, bad instructions.
Summary: This motherboard is pretty solid! I installed a Quad Core Duo and DDR2 RAM with no problems. When trying to setup a RAID configuration this board is somewhat confusing because the instructions are not very clear. The copper pipes cool the motherboard down good and everyting else installed smooth. I like ASUS and always use them when building new computers. Although sometimes I'll get a DOA board I still think ASUS is the most advanced motherboard out there.

Strengths: DDR3 support, Cool looking board
Weaknesses: IDE location is placed very far from the drive bay. Raid support/instruction is pretty lame. I would have given the board a 4 if it weren't for these.
Summary: The mobo worked right out of the box. So far, this board keeps my overall system temp pretty cool. My build is a E6550 core 2 duo, 2 gigs gskill(800), zalman 9500.
