Strengths: * Great over clocking ability.* Lots of heat sinks / pipes around northbridge.* Lots of SATA connections and RAID configurations.* On board WiFi and audio.

Weaknesses: * IDE is not in the best location. * Trouble with the locations of SATA connections and graphics card.* The forums are filled with tales of corrupt BIOS. Always use the EZ BIOS.

Summary: This is my configuration:* Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz overclocked to 3.6GHz* OCZ 2GB DDR800 Memory overclocked to 1066MHz* Shaphire ATI Pro HD 2900Pro overclocked to 2900XT* 4x500GB Western Digital SATA HDD* Scythe Infinity Dual Fan @1900prm* Windows XP SP2So far everything is just great. I can proudly say that this is the best system I have ever built. I had some minor problems with the BIOS at first; however, after updating it, everything became fine. But remember, latest BIOS version does not always mean the best though.

Strengths: Great cooling system, lots of USB connections, eSATA connections, easy to upgrade BIOS.

Weaknesses: Had to upgrade BIOS to get rid of "Intel CPU uCode loading error"

Summary: I had just upgraded my desktop with the following components: - Intel Core 2 Due E6850 - Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP - CoolerMaster Real Power Pro 650W - 2 x Crucial 2GB DDR2 804 Ballistix Kit - PNY Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT 256 MB The first problem I ran into was the "Intel CPU uCode loading error". Luckily, a quick upgrade of the BIOS got rid of that message. The Windows interface for upgrading the BIOS is really easy to use and is a lot less trouble that the old way.The second problem I ran into was the system not booting from my HD (Maxtor DIAMONDMAX10 300GB 7200RPM 16MB3GB SATA). It turned out that I had to remove the jumper that forced the drive to SATA 1 speed (150 MB/sec). Once that jumper was removed, the installation of Windows XP completed successfully. The next problem I had was that Windows XP did not recognize my Maxtor OneTouch III external drive when a FireWire cable was used. The drive was only seen when a USB cable was used. Not sure if this is a problem with XP or with the motherboard. Anyways, the two problems above are not directly related to the CPU. Going back to the CPU, I was impressed with its speed and operating temperature. I'm using Intel's stock CPU fan and the CPU temperature is at 26C while fan is running at 2960 RPM. The motherboard was running at little hot (55C) before I installed two 120mm chassis fan (1500 RPM). It's now at 40C. Overall, I'm quite happy with this setup. Not too expensive. No major problems so far.

Strengths: Great layoutP35 Latest Intel ChipsetSupports Quad core and the future 45nm CPUsOverclockingIt's an asus!

Weaknesses: Runs a bit hot.

Summary: This is simply put the best motherboard I've ever worked with and owned. It has so many overclocking features and is rock solid. Running my quad core right now 24/7 folding at 3.4ghz stock voltage. The heatpipe system and heatsinks get quite hot but it seems to be running just fine. I have 4 gigs of ram and it is great! I couldn't be happier. If you are deciding this over the gigabyte, get this it has more features and has wifi!
