Positive Review

Strengths: Excellent response time, huge, very relihable

Weaknesses: Occasionally has a high pitch sound - similar to that of a tv when it is on standby - not a deal breaker. Speakers aren't the greatest - but they serve their purpose(it is an lcd screen)..

Summary: This is the first LCD screen i have ever purchased. I wasn't going to comment on it until I had plenty of time to review it. After several months of continual use it has not let me down. The color and response time is excellent. I would definitely buy this again - with the price the way it is its unmatchable. I was somewhat lenient to purchase a 26" LCD for under 300 from SOYO, but so far they have stood the test of time. Some people have submitted reviews that state they experienced several dead pixels - I have still yet to see any problems. ~Good Product

Strengths: Huge size, cheap!

Weaknesses: Not as crisp as other monitors, need to fiddle with color controls, annoying blue blinking light

Summary: I got this monitor for $300, so it was well worth the money! If you're looking for super high quality, you're not gonna get it with this monitor but that being said, it's definitely worth the price. It has a nice resolution and it looks nice. The only other gripe I have about this monitor is that when the computer is turned off, the blue power light is pretty bright and it annoyingly blinks every second.

Strengths: Affordable price, good resolution (1920x1200, lightning fast response times (2ms)

Weaknesses: Should have more video connections such as HDMI, monitor only has 1 vga and 1 DVI-D

Summary: In conclusion, there's no other product made today that matches SOYO's value in the Pearl monitor series. Clean delivery and design for make the MT-NI-DYLM26E6 a very desirable widescreen LCD monitor for the price. This is a good monitor, at a great price.

Strengths: Huge Display, colors look great, decent compact size for such a larger display.

Weaknesses: Sound could be better. Could have more inputs, it has: 1 VGA, 1 DVI, 1 3.5mm Audio in.

Summary: Thought I would review this since there weren't any reviews out when I bought this.I upgraded from a cheap Westinghouse 22" that looked and worked great.I use this primarily to Display over the air HDTV via an HDTV card. I was worried about the sound being too weak, but it is actually OK for TV viewing, nothing great but very functional. As I said the colors look great, I haven't watched any movies so I can't comment so much on black level. I imagine it probably isn't supper great, but for ~$400 after tax I am completely satisfied.Viewing angles are pretty good, they drop off like most monitors when viewing from a wide side angle or down below. It has a standard VESA 100 mount that easily hung on the wall and it isn't too heavy. If you need HDMI or are looking for an included USB hub you'll have to look elsewhere, but you'll probably need to tack at least another $100 to the price of this monitor.
