Summary: I had used other viewsonic LCD monitor before I used this. The color is brighter than what I used. 5ms response time makes me feel no afterimage at all. There should be 3 cables (power, speaker out, and video out). I can use cable fix rings to make the cables neat. It's also adjustable not only back and forth but also up and down which My old monitor didn't allow. Usually I have two-way speaker, and built-in speaker helps me use 4-way. It's better than nothing. However, don't expect the quality of sound. it just probably helps your feeling, not your ears. Anyway, I don't expect that monitor speaker must be good enough, so that I'm very satisfied with this LCD wide screen LCD monitor.

Strengths: Very reasonable price --- got mine for $189 at Staples after a $50 rebate. The monitor offers a swivel stand, adjustable height, and DVI input.

Weaknesses: None.

Summary: I bought the Viewsonic LCD monitor since I previously had an Optiquest CRT which was excellent. This monitor matches well with my Dell Dimension system, and offers a very crisp look. Overall, for under $200, you can't go wrong. It comes with a 3 year warranty.

Strengths: Price, beautiful monitor, fast 5msec, height tilt adjustments, 3 year warranty, Viewsonic quality

Weaknesses: No DVI cable as the 1912 model that it replaced, built in speakers are not worth using for music

Summary: Since 1990 I am using only ViewSonic monitor. This is 3-rd monitor I am buying ViewSonic brand and still surprised with the quality - it is very good.You don't need to buy Sony or whatever else to have this kind of picture.This is the best for your pocket and your eyes.

Summary: I know why it is expensive than other 19" w screen LCd, its pictures are much sharper and it looks cute. As you see in the picture, it has a slim degin. I like it so far.

Summary: I have been looking for a replacement monitor for a 19" CRT. I have always had a high regard for ViewSonic monitors and when I saw this model at the price I paid, I decided to go ahead. I have only had it up and going for a short time, but so far, I like what I see.

Strengths: Very bright, Fast response time 5ms, sharp clear picture, monitor stand pivots, colors are great.

Weaknesses: The optimal resolution is 1440x900 this monitor does not work well with video games. Most video games do not give the option to run on Wide-Screen resolution which causes distortion in the picture.

Summary: This Monitor is great for people who like to watch movies on their computer. As a family we watched "The Incredibles" and my wife kept commenting on how perfect the picture and colors were. We both noticed detail in the movie we had never noticed before. This monitor has a very sharp picture. For a Viewsonic "Value Series" $250 monitor the VA1930WM 19" is fantastic. Great quality at a low price.
