Strengths: GREAT color display. Black mat bezel. Non-glossy 24" screen. Pivots. Tilts. Height adjustable. DVI for my 8800GTX video card.

Weaknesses: Some may think the $$$, however, once you start using it you'll see why it's well worth every penny.

Summary: I use my computer over 10 hours a day and a good display is very important. I upgraded from a NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2 with the OptiClear screen (I loved that LCD and never had a problem with it) cause I wanted to go 24". I researched comparable ViewSonic and Samsung specs and saw them in person and I wasn't impressed. I believe you get what you pay for. I ordered the NEC because of the specs, my NEC 20" experience, and I knew I could return it if it didn't meet my expectations. Believe me, the thought of returning it never crossed my mind. Great packaging. Easy cable install (comes with all supported cables). Sturdy stand rotates and the monitor pivots, tilts and is height adjustable to provide a wide viewing area. Black mat (no piano look) bezel with a non-glossy screen so no glare. Easy cable hookup (comes with all supported cables). NO dead pixels. Perfect display right out of the box so I didn't have to adjust anything. 3 year warranty includes the backlight. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. Don't let the $$$ keep you from buying this GREAT LCD. BTW, I do not work for NEC or a retailer, just a VERY satisfied NEC customer.
