Summary: couldn't be more convenient -- you can literally put this in your suit jacket pocket. I have had one for two years, one for about a year. Am about to buy two more.

Summary: I bought mine over a year ago. One day it fell into the clothes wash bin. It went through the whole wash cycle. I did not know until the wash was completed, when I saw it. I fell to my knees, my eyes filled with water, my whole work and personal life went in flash. I taught I had lost everything and I DO MEAN EVERYTHING. I plug it in to my laptop and would you believe it, it worked as normal. I am buying another one in a month timeI RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE.

Strengths: Elegant design and operation. Easy to use.

Weaknesses: Short USB cord, but this seems par for the course as far as external hds go. Could possibly be for lossless data transfer. The power cord is more than long enough.

Summary: I have had no problems with my WD external hard drive. It operates silently with sexy blue led internal lighting. It is solidly built and seems like it wil serve me well for years.

Strengths: It's definitely usable, and easier to use than the old style HDD's that you had to power up by a huge plug, the USB part I love.I'd give it an 8 or of 10...

Summary: I bought this drive after buying WD TV. It works great with my HP laptop. Never needed to read the manual. I plugged it in and it was accessible immediately. I use it primarily to store video and some photos. It is very quiet, especially when streaming video to my laptop or WD TV.
