Strengths: Great price, good product, and fast shipping.
Weaknesses: original packaging
Summary: The packaging was cracked and scratched a great deal, but it does not seem to affect the hard drive. I would consider making another purchase from this seller again, just hope this was not a refurb. It was a great price, almost too good to be a new product.

Strengths: Portable 250GB, 8MB Cache, Small size.
Weaknesses: Does not come with soft case.
Summary: A small portable device which can be plugged into any USB with the cord supplied to have it up running. Amazing capacity of 250GB which provides a lot of storage!! Small sized, feels solidly constructed.All-in-all very happy with the purchase.

Summary: The price of hard disk start to drop and price for 250G portable for less than $100, and you probably can get it even less after rebate. It is small and portable, use one USB connection, do what it does to backup my files.

Strengths: Small size, fairly large capacity, durability. Doesn't need external power supply.
Weaknesses: Short cable which isn't compatible with Western Digital portable drives. Don't lose it!
Summary: Comes with decent software that can also burn audio and data CD's. The software doesn't do image backups which I find is necessary in case your PC crashes and won't start back up. I bought my second SimpleTech 250GB for $70 which is less expensive than other similar drives.

Summary: No complaints really.Good Deal, Price was $90 @ bestbuy.Runs Quite,fast,cool.Very portable, no external power source needed.Just the color is not appealing:) but you could paint or color it, or duct tape it a nice grey color.Oh, the USB cable is very short.It's Assembled in the USA.The drive also has an external power port, but no ac/dc cable, for it.USB 2.0 Drive.Very happy with the drive, just hope,like all hard drives that I buy, that it lasts long and is reliable.thank you and Good luck.
